Man, you're fine. I still use a 2013 Bamboo Splash, and I've had to replace the stylus twice. It really doesn't matter how expensive your toys are.

It's okay. I use a tiny Wacom Intuos that occasionally shits itself and loses its pen pressure until I restart my computer.

You know, you can restart the tablet processes in Windows without restarting the computer. It takes a couple minutes, but it's pretty easy. Just open the task manager, and from there open Processes from the Processes tab. Another window will pop up, listing all the stuff that's running on your computer; restart "Wacom consumer service" or "Tablet services Wacom" and "Touch keyboard and handwriting" (on Windows8 ) a couple of times, and restart your drawing program. You might need to reconfigure your tablet settings from the control panel, or at least open up the reconfig to set everything back in order. Honestly, Windows spaghetti code bites, and Wacom's shirty drivers don't help at all.
