I know this will sound like a silly question. But since 2016, have any of these people ever stopped and go "Hey, I just noticed there aren't any massive Nazi Germany styled death camps, ovens or gas chambers. There aren't any Waffle SS groups busting into my or my friends doors and dragging all the gays/lesbians/trans people/Muslims/etc outside to have be shot. Infact, so far shit has been relatively normal save for some issues...." or are they too busy still jumping at shadows and reading bullshit indie comics published by hacks of how Trumps Nazi/USSR USA is right around the corner and how they are the equivalent of the French Resistance.
Their explanation for this is two-fold:
1. The Resistance "has worked" to keep Trump in check to the extent that he hasn't gone "full Hitler", aided by the "deep state" and Republicans who are thinking of life post- Trump Presidency to keep his evil under "relative" check".
2. The smarter ones, like Michael Moore, pointing out that Trump is playing the long game and evoking the idea of the "Reichstag Fire"; the famous burning down of the German version of Congress (the Reichstag). While officially the work of a lone communist nut, it's widely believed (though never actually proven) that Hitler and the Nazis burnt down the Reichstag and framed a lone nut, so they could exploit a clause in the Weimer Republic constitution, that would allow Hitler to pretty much declare a national emergency and do whatever he wanted. Which included dissolving the Reichstag, banning ALL opposition parties, and pretty much becoming a full dictator with the Nazis running everything.
The later believe that the Deep State's decision to side with "The Resistance", has pretty much made it next-to-impossible for Trump to pull a "Reichstag Fire" and get away with it. At the same time, they know that they can't control EVERYTHING, and that part of the reason why they are so fixated on the Putin/Russia angle, is that Putin widely believed to have done his own version of the "Reichstag Fire" in the late 90s, which allowed him to create the necessary climate to get Russia to elect him President. And that, sooner or later, some sort of Black Swan event will take place that will give Trump his excuse to go full dictator Hitler.
The more I think about, I can see this as the Democrats starting to distance themselves from celebrities who will go on TDS that hurts both their career and their party.
Smollett is apparently a huge virtue signaler for the Democrats. I think there was a picture of him with Kamala Harris.

Which in turn has fueled a conspiracy theory that Kamala Harris is the actual mastermind behind the fake hate crime. As far as getting her getting her BFF to stage a hate crime, which she and Corey Booker/CNN then shilled to hell and back, to put pressure on Congress to pass a new draconian "anti-lynching" bill Harris introduced to Congress. A bill she desperately needs to pass as part of her plan to get elected President, because she's done jack shit in Congress since she got there (meaning she has nothing to run on in terms of accomplishments), especially since her work in California on the state level, is a combination of stuff that makes her unelectable as President as far as painting her in a very unfavorable light to normies.
