Sooooo... you're saying that the wife and the daughter of your protagonist were villains?

And way to be creative, Jerry. "Let's do away with the centuries-old cliche of killing people in your story but the millennial old cliche of killing the villain can hella stay"

lol “would of”

This is how you know he’s such an enlightened intellectual, he thinks “would of” is proper grammar

The Dragon Prince isn’t good, not based on its own merits, its own story, and its own characters, it’s bad because they killed a gay character and Jerry doesn’t like that

His word is sacrosanct, objective, so filled with truth

Come, let us be enlightened with His objective Word

Alright, so now I have to step in again with more nerdiness. This time regarding DnD Since apparently it's now homophobic.

The Curse of Strahd campaign has a notable gay character in it named Vladimir Horngaard. He was a knight of the Order of the Silver Dragon whose lover was another Knight named Sir Godfrey Gwilym. Due to the unjust death of his lover and the rest of his order, he becomes a revenant out of hatred. Literally this guy became an undead warrior because he was so pissed at the fact that someone killed his gay lover. How the fuck is that homophobic, Peet?

I haven't watched this campaign, but is Vladimir still a secondary hero despite becoming an undead warrior, or has he now become evil or, at the very least, lost his way?

Technically He's Lawful Evil in the alignment chart when you meet him. There's a sidequest you can do involving collecting the skull of his master and putting it in the stronghold you find him in which will restore his alignment and lay him to rest.

Jerry is just such a self-hating gay man that he thinks gay people being in any story with any consequence is wrong and uses woke languageto cover it up. Mystery solved.

This would all imply lily would even be able to give a shit about D&D in any capacity, if it has Josh Scorcher involved in it then it clearly has zero redeeming qualities and that is the end of it.

I'm willing to assume if Lily ever looked at current events in Tabletop Roleplaying fandom she'd no doubt see the headlines about Zach Smith and Matt McFarland and use it as justification for hating tabletop in general

I believe so lol not so uncommon, so many people claim to be part native, quite annoying!

Jerry's Mother is from California, the side he claims to be Cherokee.

Edit: Side note people, and a bit of welcome news. Jerry, is an uncle now. It appears old Cameron has children, according to their mother's Twitter. (The same Mother whose nose Jerry threaten to break on social media.)
Congrats to the guy, and congrats to those kids who won't be raped by uncle Jerry since Cameron hates his guts. Cheers.:optimistic:

"Harry Potter’s deaths stopped meaning anything when they hit the second digit and by Deathly Hallows we stopped caring."

Two. There were two major character deaths in the first six books. A grand total of seven if you count villains and minor side characters.
And the last one literally deals with a war against a homicidal maniac and ends in a all out battle. People die in those things.

Also, Lily admits that she's a low-end hack. To bad she still acts like she's a high-end bestseller author who knows all the ins and outs of what makes a story good.
Did this dude just say that the Mother series isn't a classic? The Mother series has been around since the Nintendo Entertainment System was at it's height in popularity. It's as much of a classic as The Super Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog franchise are. If the Mother series isn't a classic then what qualifies as a classic to him then?

Simple, only the old things that he personally likes. That is, if he likes any old games. He's likely one of those people who thinks a game is bad by virtue of it being old and using sprites instead of 3D models.

Danganronpa can be silly and corny, sure, but with the large number of lesbian/waifu/lesbian waifu bait characters I'm surprised Lily doesn't love this series.

The only reason he said it wasn’t a classic is because it wasn’t localized, because, you know, that makes sense.

Just because something is in a different language than mine, that means I’m not allowed to enjoy it. That’s the Jerry way.

The thing is, EarthBound (the second game of the series) WAS localized, it just flopped due to shitty advertising. The first game was also localized, but ultimately shelved until it was released a few years ago.

Still, Lily is not smart, so I doubt she realizes nor cares that the Mother series is a cult classic.

(Also, first post! Hi!)

Jerry has a poor view on whatever is popular nowadays and says that "no one watches or is interested in it" when the opposite has all the evidence. Case in point, him saying that The Witcher series and Game of Thrones sucks balls (I know that it's a matter of opinion on whether you like them but the numbers don't lie)

Yeah, I agree. I've only learned about Peet relatively recently, but from what I've gathered, her opinions on media are ALL centered around what she likes or dislikes, which wouldn't be a problem if she didn't tout her opinions as fact. After all, if EarthBound is overrated garbage, how come it inspired so many other games?
