Honestly, it really feels like he has the same issues with regards to friendly contact as Chris-Chan does, if not that autistically.

People paid money to hang out with him and they all sound really happy when they talk to him, what's wrong with giving them a big ol' hug and a kiss on the cheek? He doesn't get the difference between some barbecue in his house where he invited a few friends and everyone's had a couple beers and is jumping on the pool without putting a swimsuit on. The standard frat party fare, more or less.

The problem, of course, is that people who paid to see him didn't necessarily want that much contact, and maybe he never outgrew the frat parties when he really should have.

I'm sure he's up himself and is a disrespectful of peoples space. But apparently being some self absorbed weirdo is enough to get you banned from an industry for life. All the while people like Momokun who we have actual video footage of sexually harassing people and her admitting to it, is doing fine.

The circumstances that led to the controversy raises a lot of questions since the events line up a little too convenient to begin. MarzGurl having the Hashtag ready when she made the tweet. ANN pushing it to spread widely and the ulterior motives that came with Hazukari's fall. Not a defender by the way. But that's one of the reasons.

I'm not really "his defender," so much as I agree with Rekeita that this "listen and believe" shit needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and shot.

If you check MarzGurl's initial tweets (included in the OP) it might have had something to due with the Broly movie. He got the red carpet treatment and everything.

For ANN's part, there was drama around the same time concerning the founder of ANN (Justin Sevakis) and some dude that wrote for them name Hazukari. The shit involving Sevakis was memory holed pretty damn quick (he was almost certainly innocent, but still), and Bamboo made a tweet about how ANN is going to start taking sexual assault allegations more seriously after they unpersoned Hazukari.

I think the general feeling is they've been bitching about him for years, but felt the time was right to make a concerted effort in order to distract from the potential bad actors in their own camp.

EDIT: A lot of this shit was archived on the other thread, so I dunno if I need to do it again.

Bulma's VA, Monica Rial has been caught lying about what happened between her and Vic. There's recent footage that shows them together in a booth having a friendly conversation. If he was such a creep why would she refer to him as a dear friend? Plus after he was fired from Funimation she immediately obtained some of his postitons.

I just went to check the link, she's basically sitting in the thread hoping someone will post some real accusations so she can go back on the attack on her side. Nothing but the usual "He thinks he's so good" "he commands his fans like an army" "he feels a bit off" "he shouldn't be hugging kid fans". Them scouring old con vids, talking about when some of them went to meet him at a panel, that he was a bit weird.

Then for some reason they start discussing R Kelly, as if that somehow will make the connection between them clear.

Something important that needs to be said is that the reason the legal system is so anal retentive about having due process is to avoid situations funimation, marchi and the rest are running into. It's possible all the accusations are true. I am willing to entertain the possibility that they are. But the way they went about dealing with it was really dumb and can't help but to taint the entire thing with the aura of impropriety.

Not all of them can be true, because some have specifically been proven to be pure fabrications.

I'd honestly be surprised if absolutely nothing he's accused of is true, but much of what he's accused of is jerk material, not ruin his life forever material.

Should Nick Creamer be considered an LOLCow considering how he starts controversies, particularly his first impressions of Rising of the Shield Hero?
 
I just want to correct something in the OP-- the story Inoue-Hart gave about her door being broken down in 2016 was not that she had been burglarized but that the police had been called and told there was a burglary in progress at her residence, meaning this is her second time to claim having been swatted.

Frankly her lying about this makes me question if she was ever swatted, or if she swatted herself the first time.

I was friends with con workers who worked at events he went to, and I can very much confirm that it's been whispered among them for ages that Vic is an absolute asshole. I can entertain that he's a diva who's maybe quite a bit too touchy-feely. That said, the way his accusers have gone about this is unprofessional at best and a hit job at worst. Earlier in the thread someone who defended the investigation finally decided to post proof to quiet everyone down and the best she can provide is him being a bit spergy around a Japanese idol and accusations he's "too flirty"? I have no doubt Vic did that shit but if that's the worse you can pin on him you need to let him keep his jobs and make fun of him behind his back like we all do with that spergy co-worker we have. It is not worth making him richer than he ever would be as an anime dubbing (lol) voice actor because you want to destroy this dude's life to be completely satisfied. I and many others who would normally be on the side of the accusers are getting absolutely disgusted at how stupid some of these people are being by faking incidents and making up stories regarding fans who had completely pleasant interactions with him.

I seriously confused him with Ryan Creamer for half a second and thought, "The PornHub parody guy?"

Creamer is such an unfortunate last name. Unlike Ryan though, Nick sounds like an asshole.

As a counterpoint, Atlus USA somehow got everyone back for the fucking Catherine rerelease dub, including Troy Baker. I was shocked.
