Honestly, it really feels like he has the same issues with regards to friendly contact as Chris-Chan does, if not that autistically.
People paid money to hang out with him and they all sound really happy when they talk to him, what's wrong with giving them a big ol' hug and a kiss on the cheek? He doesn't get the difference between some barbecue in his house where he invited a few friends and everyone's had a couple beers and is jumping on the pool without putting a swimsuit on. The standard frat party fare, more or less.
The problem, of course, is that people who paid to see him didn't necessarily want that much contact, and maybe he never outgrew the frat parties when he really should have.
