Bad Plastic Surgery - all the pics

is that really humblebragging, though? I thought all you needed was two X chromosomes, and nowadays not even that.

Plastic surgery addict left with permanent erection after botched nose job

He looks like that he has flatten up by a steamroller.

Shitty people too, it's like a visual air-raid siren.

And some people never learn:

Kate Price confesses she thinks her face is 'f**ked up' after plastic surgery but vows to get MORE work done.
Besides the fact that once you start "fixing" your face you're going to start trying to fix and optimize everything, one tiny mistake and there's almost no going back. You can't really reverse surgery, only try and imitate what was there before. And in desperation it usually ends up with them ruining their faces even more by chosing the fastest available surgeon plus not waiting long enough between operations
I feel more sad for people like Lil Kim who started off just trying to get her face back than those destroying their face for fame, but it's still a really sad thing to witness.
Doesn't mean I'm above waiting to see what happens to instagram and YouTube makeup gurus when they stop going in for their anus lips. I'm hoping for some spectacular deflated balloons

I'll just never really understand why people get plastic surgery for reasons that don't have to do with fixing actual deformities. (like the guy who straight up didn't have a pectoral muscle so he got a pec implant, or breast implants after masectomies, or ppl who got burned etc.)
What's it like to look in the mirror and see a different face/body.. when you had a pretty normal one before?

Body dysmorphia is a hell of a drug...

There's a lot of the psychosis of celebrity-capitalism in it - the propaganda that an individual can be anything they make themselves (and the almost non-existent examples of this being propagated in media), the childish entitlement that the everyday individual can be superior to others by ??? methods that was intentionally misread from individualism, the culture of fake it 'till you make it promoted by Hollywood as well as financial elites. All of this runs contrary to quality, honesty and integrity, and produces life-wrecks in industrial quantities, but superb spender pigs who never protest the system. Who pays for the husks left behind - welfare, families, or they are just left to fade out. But its okay because they achieved cheek fills, an arm sleeve tattoo and 2000 IG followers.

Well, whether we like it or not, people who are considered more attractive are not only more likely to have an easier time dating but more importantly are given better jobs and higher pay raises when combined with education and intelligence. In some countries, example China and South Korea, you have to include a pic of yourself along with a resume for a job. Having better than average looks can be a social and economic advantage.

If it's plastic surgery to make you look less ethnic, I get it. America ain't been kind to people with stereotypical Jewish noses or Asian eyes.

But people who already have perfectly fine Aryan features getting facial work done...or women who already have normal size tits wanting them enormous...yeah, it's hard to comprehend.

Surgery for "removing" the East Asian kind of eyes is actually most common in Korea, where of course the entire native population has them. It's mostly among women. It's not really pressure to look "Western" - Korean beauty culture is big and quite insular; they don't put Europeans on a pedestal by any means, but the effect of larger eyes is more neotenous, so many women think it's more attractive. As for noses, there's an old stereotype of Jews getting nose jobs, but the fact is lots of Jews have big noses, and I don't know anybody with a big nose who doesn't wish it wasn't big, purely for aesthetic reasons.

I think it's kind of a moot point because beauty standards vary not only between cultures but between individuals. I think big noses can be cute, you know? So overall I'd say the motivation is internal because if you look in the mirror and feel like your nose is crooked or huge or whatever, even if you're dead wrong you'll still want the change because it doesn't match up with your perceived self.

It's not just jews, other ethnicities have large rampant noses. Am Italian friend of mine had a bump shaved off. I thought she was cuter with it, but I don't have to look at it in a mirror. My family has a bulbous Irish potato nose and my dad promised plastic surgery to any of us who got it. I got the smaller version but am happy for it's symmetrical appearance at least. I wouldn't want one of those cookie cutter voldemort breatheholes they slap on everyone anymore. Rather have big than hideous.

I guess the thing that bothers me the most is that it seems to be very very rare tha plastic surgery gets the desired result, especially for facial stuff... even if you have an ugly nose, I just don't get why you'd go under the knife to get a different kind of ugly nose that you weren't born with
Body dsymorphia aside ofc, I was referring more to the people who get just the one plastic surgery and are otherwise normal. Body dsymporhia ppl don't stop.

A friendly reminder: actually lose weight before having a panniculectomy.
Oh God, why are those arms so close to normal. All it does is emphasize the horror that is her torso.
And the legs! THE LEGS! Does this person actually have a thigh gap?
Rate me late, but I'd like to say this is Cushing's Syndrome, most likely.

It's frighteningly underdiagnosed, mostly because people assume it's just a very unfortunate body type.
This person needed medical intervention, not plastic surgery :(

Actually, eyelid surgery that has been the biggest thing. Where they lift and create an artificial eyelid fold, which also exposes more of the eye as a sideffect. It can happen naturally in asia but is very rare, so people go to get work done to emulate the most desirable traits they see of actors and actresses who most of the time, are hired for their natural rare beauty at a young age and trained in an agency.

Eye widening surgery though, has just begun in Japan and incredibly dangerous, often resulting in the tear ducts being damaged during the procedure, resulting in you using eye drops for the rest of your life.

The problem is, the pressure for the ideal beauty standard is so intense in asia, that people get plastic surgery done on their faces even when they were considered (and hired for) their natural beauty beforehand.

This one also plays PubG in her spare time.

Of course not every star is hired for their looks, if they are considered particularly talented and hardworking, the agency may pay to give them the right look.
