Anybody on the convention circuit, should be eyeing this shitshow and investing into bodycams and hard-drives. Depends on how far vic wants to push things and if the #kickvic crew wants to push back. The only way this gets in front of a jury is if there are material facts that remain in dispute. Most obvious being Vic saying Marchi and Rial lied and they arguing they were telling the truth. A jury would have to sort that out. Keep in mind though this is civil court, not criminal court. Vic is not required to prove beyond reasonable doubt. The standard is preponderance of evidence that leads to a reasonable conclusion.

To get in front of a jury would cost way more then 100 grand if this is in federal court mind you, and would probably occur sometime a year and a half from now if they move quickly. That's a ton of money. Which is why we most likely will see a settlement. Because if Marchi, Rial and Funimation choose to die on the hill, a Jury award can be highly punitive, they will also be on the hook for both their own vics court costs. Total end your life ruination. They will try and settlle
