That's the problem with anyone that portrays themselves as some character it seems, they never seem to realize that they're viewed mostly as entertainment. They act as themselves thinking that despite the fact they label themselves as a character that their audience's there primarily for informative content, with the character there just to present it. When of course what's actually happening is that a lot of their misinformation and stupid quirks are assumed to be a part of their character. The audience then assumes that it's a intentional part of their character, and it adds to what the audience perceives to be satire.
I used to like him, but I don’t take too many Youtube reviewers seriously anymore period. In addition to the paid shilling, a lot of them will say they like a game just purely because it’s faddish at the time. About a year ago it seemed like every retro style indie game was getting great reviews, even if they sucked.
