It must have been disheartening to hear about Sean Milliken passing at 29 even when he was on the track to losing weight, even though she still insists that she's not as heavy as the MSHPL people. Maybe her denial is waning? Not to the point of inspiring a change in her ways, just enough to depress her.

It's really hard to find AL doing the same face in same lighting for an accurate comparison. I don't think it really even matters though, when you're that fat, 20lbs of weight loss or gain doesn't really make a difference. I just don't believe for a second that her highest weight this year has always been 560.0lbs on the dot.

Penny Saeger was from all appearances on that episode a somehow worse person than Amberlynn and more deluded and clueless. Truly a must watch if you haven't seen it.

Penny said a lot of things Amber consistently says. She talked about knowing and understanding nutrition better than her doctor, and she constantly blathered on about how she knows her body better than anyone else. If anything, Amber is just like Penny.

January 557lbs vs now ''560''lbs. Maybe she just gained 3lbs on her face?

it's like she gained weight only around her jawline. Originally I was trying to find reasons that she may not have gained weight, that the differences we're seeing are simply because of what she's wearing and the lighting. The longer I stare at this picture, however, the more I see that she's put on weight. I'm going to start from top to bottom here to justify my thinking, but if anyone thinks otherwise I'm interested to read what you have to say.

Her forehead and hairline look relatively comparable, not too different.
She's obviously caked on makeup, but I think that whatever foundation she's using actually makes her face look fatter. the shadows on her cheeks in the first picture make her look thinner, (at least to me). covering them makes her face look like a giant blob.
Her nose and lines around her lips are what convinced me. Either she's retaining water or gaining more. Her nosering does look tighter than it did on the first picture, (maybe we can take bets on how long it'll be before that thing pops right off?). The mouth lines do look a tad deeper as well. One could argue that this is because her mouth is closed in the second picture, but the crease on the left side of her mouth, (our left), is definitly deeper.
Lastly her jaw. It's absolutely wider. Not by much, but by enough to be noticeable. She could have her jaw sitting in different places in these two pictures, making her extra chins appear differently.

I think Penny is basically what AL will be in ten years on her current path. She also had her own thumb slug. I'm not saying they're radically different, but Penny's lies were even worse than Amber's like saying nobody told her she needed to lose weight when she uprooted her family from Maryland to Texas for a weight loss program. And her delusion that she was better than moms who worked because being in bed at home allowed her to spend more time with her son. We haven't yet got to see the test of whether Big AL would lose any weight with getting a gastric bypass. Chances are she'd be just as bad but we don't have the comparison yet.

That nose ring is approximately 5 elbees away from being completely absorbed. Her entire face is much wider. There are details that can be distorted depending on what camera is being used. Some intrepid Kiwis outlined (sperged) those details further back in the thread. However, this distortion has got to be more than just the difference in lens.
