This leads to the second mistake. Make sure you got some evidence to back up your claims, and at a bare minimum the things you HAVE presented as evidence check out. The picture from ANN posted above was publicly denounced by the girl involved who also stated that she gave vic permission to hug her and that her parents were present. She was also not underage at the time either as was alleged.

Do you happen to have a source for this? It would be very helpful to have a screenshot or archive of the girl contradicting ANN on this included in the OP.

I don't think kamen rider ever used out of context video to smear someone though....

"All your heroes are SJWs" is as much of a bad faith argument as "all art is political" is. It twists and misconstrues the meaning of those words. Kamen Rider is a show to sell toys to little boys, so voila, there's capitalism, something SJWs hate. They also tend to regulate the female characters to love interest, sidekick, or fanservice, so voila again, objectifying women. More than a few KR series actually makes fun of gay/trans characters, and I could keep going on objectionable content these shows have that SJWs would cry over.

Saying Kamen Rider is a SJW because he beats up bad guys and stands for justice is purposely dishonest, that's not what people who get labeled SJWs are being called SJWs for.

It’s likely both simpler and slightly more complex. Sony or it’s execs pretty much have a fiduciary duty to not take ownership of these two twitter twats. Right now it is somebody else’s expensive problem. Their job is to not make it Sony’s expensive problem. Sony has neither a reason nor an obligation to legally indemnify them for their personal social media antics.

More or less, seeing as Sony has other fires they need to fan out.
