Well think about it this way, Trump is a center-right billionaire, whos also President of the US, people hate him, but have sex dreams about him.

Vic is an attractive successful VA, who is a Christian that does bible studies at cons, and the allegations from the side that hates him sound like sex dreams about him.

In my experience, I've been always wary of overtly religious people. 1) It doesn't really "mesh" with british social norms 2) The ones I have met that are like that have usually used their religious leanings and position to get caught in doing stupid shit or other abuses. 3) Usually from some smaller sect, like Baptists. (especially when compared to more austere sects I have dealt with more like Anglicans and Methodists)

From what I've seen of Vic... I ain't getting that vibe. Like, the way they talk, the way they act... nope. He's done well to keep his faith and pro work reasonably separate and the bible studies/prayer meeting things seem to have stemmed from similar "Bad reading of..." schticks that are con mainstays and as noted, they're largely there to make people laugh and maybe learn a little.

The other thing to remember as well is the Risembool Rangers are fucking enormous when compared to other fan clubs. Like, these guys are a small town's worth of people claimed in their ranks while typically dedicated Fan Clubs for other VAs run to a few hundred to a couple of thousand at the most.

The Rialists, for example run to just 3,600 or so (with a strange, tinged hair surge of memberships recently). And boy there's nobody saying much at all about Rial's stupidity on their public page, with it in fact looking more like a wasteland of commentary on anything.

Machi's GFM seems to be struggling as well. With such a modest goal to hand you'd expect more than 44 people making donations, but nope. Nobody gives a shit about her blatant attempt at damage control and whataboutery.

Look, if I can go off topic here, and feel free to call me a weeb or something, but this is one of the most bullshit things to say - Especially about Kamen Rider.

One of my favorite series in the franchise - W - is a detective based show, and in the first two episodes of said show, a woman shows up playing as the victim and is searching for her BF (or she claims he is her BF) and convinces the lead character to search for him. As it turns out, he's one of the monsters of the show, a Dopant, and at the end of the battle, when he's weak and vulnerable, another Dopant shows up and kills the BF.

As it turns out, the BF and the woman were partners in crime and was actually using the Main Character to find her accomplice so she could kill him. And she almost got away from it... If the MC didn't actually investigate and found her connection.

Kamen Rider is not... And will not, stand for SJWism (I don't care if that's a word or not). Do they help people? Yes.

Do they instantly go off the handle and attack people for no reasons? No, they bloody don't.

Hell, if I can give another example from W, there's another Dopant that's going after a guy, and the guy hasn't really done anything.

But again... Investigates, and while the dopant is a crazy Ex, we learn that the guy was really scummy and actually may have pushed her to the edge, Again, the MC actually takes time to actually learn the full story from all sides.

SJWs don't care about all sides, and the fact that Marzgurl is saying this while spouting off crap like this:

Which, as an American, I find interesting because you guys literally have a state religion with your monarch as the head.

When Sargon tried claiming that the UK is a secular country, I laughed. He doesn't comprehend the meaning of the word secularism.

Secularism means the legal prohibition, or at least absence of, a state religion. We're Constitutionally prohibited from having a "Church of America" with Trump as its head. Perhaps Britons aren't as evangelical as Americans, but there's an important point that needs to be made here:

Vic isn't the government. You can easily ignore him if you don't like what he's selling. He's subject to free-market forces. The government isn't funding him.

That's never enough for SJWs though.

When Vic is an ADR script writer and inserts scripture the way these idiots have been inserting SJW talking points, I'll consider him on the same level as them.

I find this attack vector against him offensive, not because I share the same enthusiasm for his faith, but because it's further proof people lack the agency to understand they're not obligated to listen to any of it, and want some authority to ensure nobody can. It's freedom OF and FROM religion.

Funny thing about that is that Moore said it was the closest anybody has come to getting an adaptation of one of his comics right. Which is honestly pretty high praise because Moore hates fucking everything.

I actually sympathize with Hayter on this. He was a great Snake. I know Kojima is the golden boy who himself got fucked by Konami, but he had this dumb obsession with always wanting to work with Holywood people. It's the weird-ass Japanese thing that leads to stuff like Jodie Foster selling Hondas.

How about instead of paying Sutherland's salary, they complete the third fucking act to the game?
