I wonder if the VA's are lawyering up individually.
Only reason why they would is because they're still assuming Funimation's got their back. Nick laid out a pretty good reason explaining why they absolutely wouldn't.

Not even Sabat is safe, even if he's providing a studio. For the cost of defending two of the VAs, you could apparently just buy a foreclosed crack house and set up a recording studio in it.

I'd say fuck it, and get with Vic's lawyer directly and say it was all Marzgirl

Hopefully she'll need to.
I still dont understand why they cant just get people to donate directly, this is the most bizarre thing ever, its clearly to benefit from credit, the whole "look how much WE ANIME VOICE ACTORS made for women of color with our "white privilege"", how up your own ass can you be?

The wrong hill to die on is a completely foreign one. SJW's had success in games and comics because they were already hardcore invested, and the gaming media was already a long gone cesspit like the rest of the media. And even there, no one really won, everyone just got dumber, and angrier. Weebs had what? Anime News Network? and the Vic killer was io9? Weeb culture has never been anything to be proud off, especially when you're applying Woke culture to it.

I thought most of them were just thots who got paid by the convention to be eye candy.
It's interesting that all of the usual characters and protoSJWs went around the net complaining about 'booth babes' in geek spaces to the point they were banned at many cons. Most of them wore similar stuff to tanktops and booty shorts or fairly tame 'Race queen' style outfits, but were still banned due to muh sexism cries. Within a few years Thots replaced them with many wearing much more skimpy outfits than the booth babes and now those usual characters and SJWs signal how awesome it is.

She better be ready to show receipts, I feel many people are going to be asking the charity in question if they received that gofundme money.

It's especially funny because Japan is completely wise to this shit.

Where the fuck do you think Shimoneta came from?

So, what's the over under on Miles having influence on the firing and hiring decisions for RWBY's voice cast? Because if he does, those tweets of his start being a large liability for Rooster Teeth.

Miles is employee #19 on the Rooster Teeth Payroll and was part of the first "core" when the company began going fully professional. He is in charge of writing and is the Co-Creator on RWBY Chibi and Camp Camp. Meaning he has significant pull within the company. Don't forget as well, RT tends to "double up" on its roles and duties even unofficially. So Miles will be in every major development meeting for the shows he's under and could go "no. I don't want this person doing this role." and it's highly likely to be carried out.

Pretty sure Shimoneta was in response to a conservative government and not necessarily SJWs. SJWs don't mind sexiness if it's IRL - I mean, recent gay prides show that much - and fat people get to be a part of it, they just hate the concept that people can't compete against perfection which is why they tear down those blessed with good looks and those that work hard to look good. They'll say it's some institution or some other nonsense, but when you're convincing people to actively seek to be ugly to spite this "institution" it's not very different from conservatives covering up. However, in the case of conservatives it's largely for the benefit of society - as misguided as it is - and possibly to hide their own demons too. SJWs do it because they're lazy spiteful pricks that can't handle someone being better than them be it through natural talent or hard work.

I mean, Osaka University has a Gender Studies Professor that's currently in a tiff with the JSDF using Strike Witches for recruitment purposes. Only saving grace is JSDF telling them to fuck off, but I expect that from a military.

Japan’s armed forces have been harried over a recent Strike Witches recruitment ad, with the usual low-T losers taking umbrage at a Hikari Karibuchi and Yoshika Miyafuji panchira shot featuring so prominently – going so far as to denounce it as “sexual harassment”.

The Japanese Self-Defense Force’s collaboration with Strike Witches may have become the latest victim of the current “Me Too” moral panic, as a recruitment ad from late 2018 featuring Strike Witches characters was condemned for its use of panchira. A close examination of the poster reveals that Yoshika Miyafuji and Hikari Karibuchi‘s not-pantsu are visible.

While the image seems to have escaped criticism when it was first released – perhaps because a military recruitment poster would be amongst the last things the Twitter soy brigade would be interested in – eventually they cottoned on, calling it “sexual harassment” and denouncing the “insanity” of a government organisation using popular characters in its marketing.

Kazue Muta, a “gender studies” professor at Osaka university who has previously claimed that the prince from Snow White was a sex offender, complains that its “sexualisation” of young girls could lead to it being interpreted as child pornography overseas, and that they be should concentrating on filling their ranks with strong and empowered women instead.

The JSDF is having none of it, saying they are appealing to the younger generation through an award winning example of a modern medium, and that the clothing pictured is not pantsu so there is no issue.

I know I'm really fucking late and I haven't even finished watching the 3 hour Rikieta stream, but I wanted to read up to date on the thread before posting, and holy shit Shane is one of the dumbest human being I've seen. I've known two aspergers in my life but they've been recognized as having a mental condition and they are aware of it too, but here come Shane, a guy that is not only fucking retarded, but doesn't even realize it and even better, firmly believe he is smarter than others.

It gave me a headache to watch him go. He's envisioned their entire conversation in his head and saw himself own his opponent with wittiness and clever arguments but he can't even follow the conversation or answer simple questions at all. It looks like he is spacing out and looking for something to say after two whole minutes of Rikieta repeating the same question, and then Shane finally clap his hands together and giggles. That's when I thought "oh fucking finally he's gonna answer" but no, he says something off-topic and is immediately brought back to earth when Rikieta ask his question again. It's as if his brain went into auto-pilot while he was thinking about a sharp reply. It's as if his mind raced to another dimension for a whole 2 minutes, I don't fucking understand this guy. In retrospect, I realize it's because he was googling up some law stuff and/or reading his discord. But dude, why the fuck are you doing that? You're in the middle of a conversation, do you have any manners at all? That's disrespectful. Also, call me dumb, but if I would be arguing with a lawyer, I'd still ask the same lawyer if I had any doubt or question about laws. Maybe he would bullshit me and make me look like an idiot, but at least I'm not on google trying to guess what are the names of the laws I'm thinking about, that may or may not exist.

He's a rude-ass retarded brainlet, how does he even manage to run conventions, something that requires lot of planning, organizing, socializing and being polite? I pity anyone that has to work with this living embarrassment. I can't even say I hope he doesn't reproduce because he has a baby in his profile pic, it's already too late.

He supposedly ran "Guest services" at a number of cons (and now won't be doing that, lol).

So he sat behind a table somewhere, and handed out complimentary food vouchers or whatever when people came to whine at him about things.

Because that's all Guest Services do.

So a Wal-Mart greeter job, the kind they give to tards and senile old dudes, except for anime tards. And he thinks he's very important.

To be fair, in the places I've worked the Guest Services people were vitally important in handling information and complaints and were also responsible for other roles such as Lost Children and had roving members of staff to handle anything else that appeared.

Here's the problem though. Where are most Cons held? Hotels and Convention Centres. What do these places have?

Guest Services Teams like I described above.

So what was the tldw for Nick's stream on Rooster Teeth? I'm gonna be on a bus for much of the day and won't be able to watch it.
Shannon and Miles may have fucked up in their tweets, especially if the "we" used in Shannon's tweets is accurate or Miles influences hiring (which is likely). Notably, RT was being a good faceless corporation and limiting its liability till those two may have fucked up, so some poor sod in legal is probably head desking over this.

The idiot VAs at RT might have opened RT up to full on prepare-your-anus level of liability with their tweets, which apparently have enough hints at the same shady shit that Funimation et all were doing that any reasonable judge would likely let Vic's team perform discovery on them.

In addition to what @INVCTS mentioned, one of RT's staff, Jen Brown, has hiring/firing authority, and is openly retweeting and sponsoring the idea that Vic is guilty, making RT liable under Texan Vice Principal laws.

It's reaching the point you wonder if they don't want to be able to retire and just want to work till they're dead in a 7/11 somewhere paying off legal bills.

It's almost as if the people attacking Vic for his religion aren't exactly the religious types, let alone have a sense of ethics and morals.
?

And it's very doubtful they would had attacked Vic if he was a Muslim, I already mentionned that detail in the Vic thread but it might be worth to remention it. Btw, would their heads explode if someone twitted that question to them? ?
