I don't think so, you don't follow Vic that closely and not know he comes from an italian family. You don't follow Vic that closely and no know that he gets intimate with fans. I've been doing digging for a few days and if I know this much then imagine how much a fan/hater knows of him?

I keep coming across tumblr blogs and old livejournal posts that are cookie cutter hanleias. Fujos who say "Okay nothing ever happened with me but I HEARD THINGS" and "can you believe he won't sign my yaoi fanart? That's erasure! VIOLENCE!"

Well, Zac claims, without any elaborating, that the rotoscoping is far less jarring that what Bakshi was doing in the 70s. I don't comprehend how he could possibly come to that conclusion. Rotoscoping has always looked like hot garbage.

Also the fact that at least three different people at ANN gave it a glowing review suggests to me that they hire based on same-think, rather than diversity of opinion. Which ought to surpise no-one.

Honestly at this point the number of people online, especially people on youtube. that just want to see him sue litteraly everyone is staggering.
People want this believethewhaman lynch mob to be stopped by something, Anything.

Imagine if a 50 year old in skinny jeans and an army of fan girls, weebs, and trolls are the ones to do it.

The only time I ever thought Rotoscope was good was the Take on Me music video. Otherwise, whether it be Bakshi or ZEXCS, it looks like trash.

Here's a thought. What if it's literally HanLeia, over and over and over again? That's the standard MO of Tumblrinas, since you can make an infinite number of blogs on one account and there's no way to trace them back to your name.

I mean, it probably isn't literally the HanLeia user, but there's definitely not a 1 to 1 ratio of account to real person going on with these nutters.

Then again, insane shipping bullshit has been around anime literally ever since Sailor Moon / Ranma 1/2 came out -- and they were well known for being bugfuck nuts back then WITHOUT the Internet to help them network and bounce off each other.

Old drama, but if you want to see how this all plays out usually look into Zamii070. She was some artist on Tumblr that managed to get the ire of one of these weird fucks and they made literally thousands of blogs calling her everything but a human. Her crimes? Drew one character merely a huge fat fuck instead of a landwhale, and drew someone who is "black coded" (tumblrspeak for "she's not black but I think she's a nig so she's black!!111) insufficiently purple. She finally got sick of it all and tried to end it, and when the Steven Universe people came out and said "uh, maybe not torture other fans into literally trying to kill themselves" Tumblr lost their shit... on the SU creators. Because how DARE they tell them not to terrorize and torture some kid, don't the creators know that they're VICTIMS of her HATE ART?!

The second I saw that KickVic was referring to Tumblr callout blogs I knew this all was 100% unfettered bullshit. I had assumed some idiot blogger had fallen for Tumblr's idiocy, but since then I think they're only pretending to fall for it because they really, really, REALLY hate Vic.

It's funny you mention this, because it's exactly what happened with the very first cow for this site I covered in-depth.

Vade used to do exactly this shit, and while we laugh at her now that she's been completely defanged by us, it behooves us to stop a moment and remember that a morbidly obese post-highschooler with a massive chip on her shoulder successfully undermined and disrupted multiple communities and had parts of Tumblr scared enough that they were terrified of crossing her. For someone with no qualifications, credentials, or achievements, she achieved some level of notoriety for herself, and all she had to do was take issue with someone, tell her buddies to call them out, and they'd all swear to the same false shit.

Prior to us cutting her down at the knees, she had successfully gotten to the point where she would call people out for completely spurious shit because they did something to trigger her, this horrifying little microcosm of people afraid of someone drunk on their own self-importance.
