You know the biggest lesson behind all of this shit is quit fucking talking about pedophiles. The word alone makes me uncomfortable and a lot of people have gotten really fucking comfortable laughing and joking about who might be a sick fuck. I think the biggest issue is how incriminating the audio sounds for the most part, optics-wise (or rather a lack of optics altogether), they made it seem like they were downloading and viewing CP, and without being able to see what exactly is on their screens, that's what most people including myself are going to lean towards.

The best way for them to damage control this would be to directly address the issue and clarify just what the hell they did. Leaving us with just what we heard and pretending it never happened is going to make most people assume the worst case scenario that they did in fact download, share, and edit over 30gb of explicit child pornography.

Okay just to make sure that I have this straight: Andy was contacted by a girl from the group that was streaming yesterday

1. Girl sent him info pertaining to their 'investigation' which included a video of her opening the Mega file. This video showed at least one picture that required censorship when streamed. The picture may or may not have been of someone who, was underage
2. Andy either did not follow this lady's instructions or was not instructed to wait until they broke the story, and fired up a livestream with his best friend, Gunt.
3. The Tardly-boys stumble their way through Instagram accounts of the people implicated in the information stream lady sent to Andy. People accused are actively deleting everything as they watch. No effort was made to archive these accounts by our heroes beforehand.
4. Our heroes did not attempt to contact law enforcement beforehand, possibly because Andy was informed by girl that they had already done so, possibly because he is exceptional.
5. The stream earns between 50-100 dollars and is deleted immediately after.

Is that more or less what has happened? I'm trying to put a time line together in my head based on what I've read, but yesterday the story was still breaking so some of the stuff I'm thinking of could be wrong or misleading now that we have more info.

I could watch a YouTube vid, pause it, then screencap/edit the picture I've taken, and display the finished product. It's possible but I don't know if that's what they did and the words he used heavily imply that he had the actual files.

That's more or less what happened. There is no question whether Andy had a video of the megafile, he showed it. At one point he clicked on a subfolder on accident and managed to go back before his shitty Windows managed to render the images.

According to Zoom Twoon and the rest of his idiots went to him first and he told them they don't have shit and they're retarded.

Keem went off on Twoon and if feds start questioning their crew they'll immediately put all the blame on Andy. They did as much on the stream from last night. There were quotes such as "Andy shouldn't have shown CP". Those people are complete and utter brainlets, what Josh told them about honeypots went completely over their heads.

At this point I think they're all covering their own asses on this, and Andy saying he got in contact with the FBI after the stream and they have everything I don't quite think passes the smell test. I don't think the FBI can get a hold of all those people's IP addresses in less than a day unless they have some evidence of a crime and even then I'm not sure the exact protocols with this sort of thing.

I'm not sure about acquiring their IP addresses, not even sure if that would do any good since they're probably using proxies or VPNs to trade CP in the first place. What I do know is Instagram and Discord will require warrants in order to release the data for the deleted accounts, and that will be a lengthy process.

Regarding point #2: From the stream last night, Toon added that he had discussed this briefly with Warski and the plan was to wait until both of the videos went up and then he'd stream with him to clarify any questions within the scope of the videos (he also said that they would only focus on the public accounts (with all identifiable information redacted), not the Mega, but I'm guessing he's just covering his ass). Keep in mind that this Toon idiot was already getting into public spat with at least two of the girls involved with this stuff for drama views.
