The drawpile looks great! Too bad I missed it.

I needed to get off my ass and start arting again, so I'm coloring those Floraverse redesigns I made ages ago. I started with Orobas - She was the easiest to redesign, since her original design was actually okay (back when she wasn't neon magenta and still looked like a witch).

I've also done Beleth. I mentioned before that I gave Beleth a diamond theme because for some reason there are two heart-themed characters but no diamond-themed ones.

Another update on my Joytail model. The model still has no texture but I colored some of the geometry to give you an idea of what it'll look like once it's done. I also wanted to see if I could get some feedback on the proportions. What do you guys think?

don't worry about the texture, the lowpoly look is gorgeous.

Holy crap, this is amazing! I agree with @neyvaraez here - it captures Buttfart's MS Paint drawings' vibe so well, I love that this version exists! That said, you clearly are very skillful, and no doubt it will look even cooler textured.

hey guys long time lurker!
always wanted to partake in this thread since i think glip actually has some decent parts to her designs, though as mentioned many times she makes them unnecessarily busy and weird-looking somehow, so i was doodling tonight and thought i'd post them.

i had a go at furfur too, love the one above as it keeps pretty close to the original but gets rid of all the weird cluttery things like the wings (why? ok i get that the original demon has something about angels in but on furfurs design it just looks strange)

i changed glips horn design as i figured if the horns looked more..horny she'd perhaps look more demonic (i tried to keep the heart motif but idk if it works) gave her cute lil bangs, got rid of the gross long neck (WHY PK) and gave her mr tumnus faun esque legs as i dunno what the fuck the legs are supposed to be in her character profile maybe thats what glip was going for, no idea. also put her in a just a croptop and no pants because all glips characters are sluts anyway they dont need clothes

aaah thank you so much!!!! it's fun taking glips horrible designs and trying to salvage them tbh, much more fun than reading floraverse

it's sad because floraverse had a lot of potential around the seeds arc, then the beleth arcs were okay and beyond that i just stopped reading it because i didn't know what the fuck was going on any more

if glip actually stuck to one story and finished it, perhaps she would learn about how to write a story... (i mean actually finished it and not pulled whatever crap she does as an excuse for not finishing, metaAngelstuff or whatever, just smells a lot like BS and a way to avoid telling the rest of her stories coz shes bored)
it's no surprise all her stories are going nowhere, because she gives up on them before any of the long term plot threads get resolved so she doesn't learn anything from her storytelling failures, and it doesn't matter how nice and magenta your art is when your storytelling sucks. floraverse is a cool concept but it's executed absolutely terribly

it's cool that we have so many great artists here though!!!! even glip is obviously jel and has to try persuade herself we're secretly actually floraverse fans with the drawpile drama, she clearly thought she could get us all on her side because we "like flora" but idk how much there is to genuinely like about flora haha

i'm surprised she's not more offended that we're basically being like "hmm cool creation but could be x amount of times better if you did this" - if she's not offended by it then perhaps she should take into consideration what we have said about her story and characters but she's probably crying behind all her caps screaming

We might never know what she was trying to accomplish with the drawpile exactly, but I doubt she was jealous of anyone's creations here (I can only potentially see her liking some of the Beleths we've drawn.) Offended by us tweaking the designs of other characters? Possibly.

Imo I think she wanted to try and bribe people with pretty pictures of their ocs so we'd think she's a good person. Another part of me thinks she just wants to make fun of us and our ocs or even drawing skills compared to her and her remaining fans. But who knows?

I suspect Glip isn't exactly sure what to think of all the redesigns and OCs. It's probably somewhat flattering that even people who dislike/criticize her draw her characters, and somewhat insulting that we're redesigning them. Either way, it's free art.
