Nick is a gem. See... he's independent. He knows EXACTLY how to stay independent. But he's also a lightning rod for these idiots. He's poking holes in their worldview where they hold themselves above all this "consequences" stuff. His comments keep causing them cognitive dissonance and they can't help but react.

Actually with the way he's talking you could probably escalate to Blackmail with the statements he's made. Which becomes a hilarious criminal case. He's spoken and behaved as if he'll drop the "devastating evidence" if the legal case doesn't go away.
Which means 6 figure judgement and up to 20 years in jail!
