We're still in denial.

I think we hit bargaining when the Beard drops papers though. So, soon. Hopefully.

Bets on whether Ron even has a fucking thing?

They really think that they're going to be allowed to parade a bunch of hearsay evidence through the courtroom, assassinate Vic's character, and taint the jury. They seriously, unironically are counting on this, because that is how Twitter works. They think surely a court of law will be the same. I'm going to borrow a page from Nick's play book: they think Twitter is real life. Twitter isn't real life... and it really isn't a courtroom in Texas.

I seriously doubt they have any idea of just what kind of bias a jury in Texas will have. Vic's lawyers can present the case -- with example after example of supporting evidence -- that an innocent, upstanding Christian man has been the victim of vicious, baseless rumors which have persisted for decades; has been Julius Caesar'd by his co-workers and employers; and then, has had the lifeless corpse of his reputation publicly flogged and dragged through the mud, all because a handful of fans were mad that he wouldn't sign homosexual fan art of his characters. A jury smack dab in the Bible Belt surely wouldn't be influenced by that argument.
Tyler "Litigation is my fanfiction" Beard is going to shake this Soy Toye for that $750/hr rate for the time he spent having to listen this fucker's voicemail at his workplace when it's Saturday.
There is no way that the law firm could bill him... there's no contracted agreement between them. And they also couldn't offer him any legal advice or accept any money from him -- as Vic is already their client, that would be a huge conflict of interest. What they absolutely could do is use anything that he says as evidence against him and possibly any of his co-conspirators.

Listening to voicemails would be delegated to someone in a lower position, anyway, as well as any follow-up that didn't actually require a lawyer's time.

There has to be at least one person who’s worked with Vic that still supports him....is there? Or have they all cucked out like Sean Schemmel? I’ll admit that I have never watched any Funimation dubs until recently but I don’t want to lose any more respect for this company.
NONE of them will publicly state so, because they don't want the shrieking harpies to turn on them. That's one of the reasons these types publicly lynch their victims, to make sure no one ever defies them later on.

The second they have a shield to hide behind, like one of the harpies admitting they lied, then they'll suddenly regain their spines. In the meantime, they're probably reaching out in private with supportive phone calls and the like.

This is what confuses me. Kickvic says they have all this evidence that Vic is a rapist and molester but they just want him blacklisted from voice acting and cons. Why wouldn't these people give this "evidence" to the proper authorities? It's not like dub studios (or whatever they are called) are going to get him to do his lines from the prison phone. He's not going to get a day pass to go to cons.

The identifiable people I've found that hate him the most, and have been waiting for him to be taken down for 5, 8, 10, 15 years. They all admit themselves, Vic did personally absolutely NOTHING to them, how can you wish death on someones career for so long, and not even have a real crime to talk about at all? Surely for holding a grudge for that long, he must have personally hurt you, right? It's just insane to me.

If someone said "Finally 15 years after being raped I have justice". That makes sense. But "Finally 15 years after once being his biggest fan I have justice"? What the fuck is that?

The only way they can survive this lolsuit is together. Since they have to make a commune to afford housing. Hopefully they will know a lot about each other and their friendship they never knew by living together and tear each other apart with things they hate about each other. Optimistic I know but they could make a reality TV show about it to pay Vic. Quick Kiwis! Make a name for that reality show.

What we're seeing right here is basically the Twitterati equivalent of when a Sovereign Citizen gets pulled over by the cops. They come up with these ideas that as long as they say the magic words (as espoused by their clique) they're immune to consequences. In their own echo-chambers, they delude themselves into thinking they're always in the right, even though they're unambiguously in the wrong. Because their ideology demands they double down and never accept responsibility for their actions because they see their actions as infallible.

:story:

The cops are a lie. However, for her, the cake never is.

Note, Ron "Yaps Like a" Toy Poodle is taking Nick's response as a threat. He's just saying what he's ethically obligated to advise any unrepresented party, i.e. the only advice that he's legally allowed to give under the circumstances.

“ I double dog dare you! What’s the worst that can happen?”

"What are you going to do, sue me?" says man sued.

That still seems a cruel and unusual thing to subject the interns to. Couldn’t they tack some sort of “emotional cruelty” charge onto any settlement or judgement? I mean I know the interns are pretty much almost as worthless as the twitterati but you go through enough of them and that starts to add up to real money eventually.

It's crazy, if they have evidence of Vic actually being a rapist or whatever, take it to the fucking cops. Why the hell are you dancing around twitter with secondhand stories? 15 years, not a single police report. Not even now when they have an alleged bomb in their arsenal. This is what has me convinced it's all bullshit. They refuse to get the police involved.

Envy and jealousy.

Edit:
And a good dose of mental illness.

See you are making a common mistake, and assuming the SJWeebs definition of “Rape” in any way corresponds to the real world or legal worlds definitions of rape. These clowns consider “I saw him kiss a fan girl on the cheek for a picture and it made me feel icky” as rape. They consider “he hugged me 10 years ago, after I stood in line for an hour to get hugged. But now I regret it...” as rape. If they brought their complaints to the cops, the cops would call their mothers and give them a stern talking to about incompetence in parenting. Marzgurl being the perfect example.

Ty and Nick sending "We're here, and we're coming" tweets are actually some of the first signs of an incoming serve and Rob should start taking this shit seriously NOW.

Legal teams use public records checks to find residences. Many of these records checks include social media accounts and emails associated with that person. The law firm then uses tweets or Facebook messages as proof that the person being served isn't actually dead. Rob responding to the tweet essentially gave Ty proof that the person is alive and most if not all of the record check is true.
