A few thousand or even a few tens of thousands, easily, sure. A few million...I don't know. Even if this were a scorching hot #MeToo takedown, I don't know if it would clear even one million just by virtue of it being centered around Western anime dub actors. Not a lot of them have the fan following to clear a million off a Gofundme. If it were Tara Strong saying Troy Baker whipped it out in an elevator and made his dick hit on her in his Joel voice, okay, that's spicy. But Vic just has pictures of himself kissing girls on the cheek (showing my age, but David Bowie did that all the time), and Monica Rial doesn't even have the Twitter following of Cristina Vee, who grew up in one of LA's various armpits, is still living in one of LA's various armpits, and has a decent Youtube following and I'm not even sure she could crowdfund half a million.
If anybody on the #KickVic side is hoping to outfinance his supporters, I think they're out of luck.

I used to wonder how people fell for obvious scams, or got pulled into religious cults and such, or guys that would just say they were doctors and lawyers and pick up chicks at bars, but I this whole debacle has shown me in real time, just how stupid and oblivious most people are. I seriously wonder how they function. If things go to shit in their life do they need their friends to combine brain power to figure out a solution?

One “victim” might be able to crowdfund their way to blunting a lawsuit, but a half dozen? A dozen plus corporations? Oh heck no. Rial, Marchi And Marzgurl aren’t even going to be able to fully crowdfund Lawyers, let alone a settlement. Especially since this isn’t Kaylyn’s first accusatory rodeo. In days past friends and colleagues such as the Walker brothers probably could have been counted on to kick in some good money towards legal fees, and encourage their fans to help. Oopsie! Burned that fucking bridge to the ground now didn’t we?

Jamie is going to fuck around until the last minute, not get a lawyer, think she'll have one appointed (cause that's what happens in ALL the law shows), and be severely disappointed when it's going to be a highly skilled lawyer going up against a voice actress.
