"She consented but people around were uncomfortable" might as well be the slogan for every anime convention ever. Has Linkara ever been to an anime con because thirsty socially stunted girls are common, especially when faced with the voices behind their husbandos.
Interesting but for now taking it with a grain of salt. Not the affair, the parties involved. This seems like a wait-and-see type of thing.

One thing noteworthy is the wording Vic's ex uses in her statement on all this, which I think helps solidify the affair if not it being specifically with Rial

They are behaving like they are, because being sued into oblivion is still an abstract threat that they don't believe will actually happen. They still think there are zero consequences to be faced for ruining Vic's life, especially since (in theory) Vic hasn't been blackballed from the LA and NYC voice acting scene yet, with regards to their evil work still not being 100% done.
Only when they get served with papers telling them they are being sued, will it start to sink in and even then, most of them will only thrash about evil worse to do as much damage to Vic as they can, having realized they are fucked and have nothing else to lose.

Ill freely admit it, I'm a huge fucking drama whore, I just love it. I suck it up like Rials cuck boyfriend slurps cum from her roast beef. I was thinking about this earlier. all of this started basically 2 weeks ago for most of us. and its going to go on for years. this is fucking great. and now hes got a 100k to play with, and probably more to come.

One party actually has to petition the judge to make all or part of the proceedings private, and they have to show cause. It rarely actually happens.
One caveat here is that judges hate cameras, so spectators better bring legal pads. Also, asshats get held in contempt and throw the fuck out. That's kinda like the judge's IRL block button.

Funi's legal guy has probably told whoever suggested that that they're crazy and the company will either look after itself, or Sony will do it for them and the VA's can spin in the fucking wind.

He's not completely gone from Texas either, or at least blacklisted. Houston-based Sentai hasn't said anything on the matter as far as I know. Granted, there's some cross pollination between Funimation and Sentai, namely Monica and Jamie, but as far as I know they've only ever voice acted in Sentai, not production say-so. Granted again, I don't think Vic's voiced in anything Sentai, either.
Also hi I'm new. I've been hooked on here ever since Captain Manning posted Ty's Five Words. I want to see the world burn at this point.
