What tweet is that?
Here you go. Basically they can't self reflect or read someone else's opinion without drastically reinterpreting it, so their off in their own delusion patting each other on the back.

"The court would like to thank Mr. Remove Goat, of The Kiwi Farms, for the information that assisted in this case."
"A user by the name of killnigerians unearthed evidence that the defendant plotted to have the plaintiff fired for not continuing their affair."

i meant the credit the site : c

Hey Ladies, he's pretty worthless as far as money you can squeeze out of him goes, but putting the fear of a lawsuit on this guy would make my day:

Is that even true? I just googled "Vic Mignogna sexual 2015" and only found articles dated 2019.

We need to compile a list of Kiwis who need to change their names for a year.

A "whisper network" is what we call rumors and hearsay. Rumors can start for any reason or be a damn twist of something innocuous and small that did happen and got so twisted out by the time 50 people repeated it that it was so much fucking worse than what really happened.

All these reports and not one con decided to just quietly stop inviting up him to avoid any legal issues that they may be culpable for since they took no action. Suuuuuure.

I'm not so sure that the Amazon stream was good for Vic with regard to his newfound fanbase outside of the anime community.

While some were probably aware of people potentially attacking Vic for his faith, I'm not sure how cognizant they were that the lawyers he hired were hardcore Christians. I think that might give them pause. Anyone who grew up in the faith knows that Christians will allow their own to get away with murder. They'll forgive nearly anything, because anyone can be redeemed. There are anti-gay preachers who have been caught with male prostitutes and meth who are still on the pulpit.

Lmao, that's the tweet they think is going to redeem the movement? :story:

I think the only endgame they have... especially if Vic wins... is to talk about the 90 gorillion victims that they all had lined up to go to court but were denied by the patriarchal judicial system.

It's damage mitigation.

Beard is Christian too, the entire firm is known for being pretty conservative Christian. If it wasn't brought up during the Beard stream I doubt it will now. The #KickVic side now has to contend with a group of female lawyers who were sexually assaulted being on Vic's side, including a black woman lawyer.

They may be Christian, but you missed the part earlier in the stream when they were talking about how they wouldn't had taken it if they didn't feel comfortable with him or had doubts about his side of the story. When they said that, religion was never brought up as a reason why they felt that way.

TBH I'd rather be on the side of the group of people with real jobs and real dress sense, that cover for guys accused of having gay sex in a public bathroom, than the group of neon haired grifters wearing furry ears that cover for pedophiles and genital mutliation, but thats just me.

But it's not the Christian lawyers who decide if Vic gets away with murder. That's up to the judge and jury, who can very well be Christian, non-Christian, or even anti-Christian. If Vic's lawyers make more convincing arguments than the opposition, that's a function of their skill and intelligence, not their religion.

Literally every group does that though. George Takei and Justin Trudeau are immune to Metoo for a reason.
