In most municipalities Criminal and Civil draw from the same pool of jurors. Jury selection tends to be faster and smoother for Civil Trial. Generally the sides aren’t given quite as much leeway with challenges. Plus many locales use 6 person juries for Civil Trials instead of the traditional 12.

You also got to remember, that Funimation was founded by someone related to one of Toei's higher ups. They've probably had no choice in the matter lest Toei take away their licenses (and possibly convince other Japanese companies not to send their anime to them, I don't know how that would work though).

Funimation's original efforts at dubbing DBZ in-house were absolutely dreadful. They hired people off the street and cast their production crew in main roles. These people were learning on the job, so much so, that Funimation ended up dubbing the same episodes all over again just to maintain consistency as they improved. Chris Sabat's Vegeta was so bad that it doesn't sound anything like what it does today.

Soye Boye should think really hard about this, as his future wife* might be trying to save her own arse while at the same time throwing him under the bus. It sure would be hilarious if she has a lawyer telling her to sell him the fuck out. Especially if she knows that any relationship-ending information is going to come out in discovery. It's possible that behind the scenes she is begging him to STFU but he is too deluded and stubborn to do anything other than go down with the ship. Just live in denial until the end and an hero or declare bankruptcy or move to Canada or cash in his good boy points somehow.

Considering Ron said he'd rather be a cuck and be with her, than not be a cuck and be without her, I think that if she so much as told him to shut his mouth he'd do it in a heartbeat. It wouldn't make sense for a lapdog such as Ron Soye to disobey her simply because of a delusion.
Which is exactly why I think she doesn't even bother to stop him because she probably knows the relationship is doomed and is radio silent so that she would get away with at least less consequences than the others who keep running their mouth and digging their graves deeper.
But that's simply a speculation and I'm definitely no expert at law.

C'mon, let's not insult the honour and legacy of Captain Edward Smith. He was a man of excellent standing and had a completely honourable career of some 40 years, keeping thousands of people calm despite the horrific incident he was in command of at the end of his career, even going down with his ship as was in keeping with his character.

He's actually the originator of the concept of the British Stiff Upper Lip as a mainstream british character trait too.

But yes, Ron is obviously trying to be the "man" in the relationship for once and it's likely someone will flip instead leaving him spinning in the wind.
