They don't get it. If you got raped, assaulted or robbed and you don't report it to the authorities, you're effectively condoning the perpetrator's actions and are fine with them doing the same shit to someone else.

Whatever happened, if you haven't dealt with the perpetrator yourself then have the cops deal with it, otherwise in my eyes you're just as guilty. I know I'm mad at the internet here, but the cognitive dissonance and hipocrisy of saying you're here for the victims while perpetrating behavioural patterns that create more victims just hurts my brain.

I know I missed the boat on this one, but I remember someone said something along the lines of "Todd was originally against Vic to be 'woke' but he backed off after he was accused."

Does anyone have a source on this? Been watching Con videos where Vic talks lately and him and Todd are always flirting and giving eachother gifts. Would be seriously sad if he was against him originally.

Its one of the many reasons that he has to file suit, and why punitive damages exist - its the law's attempt to compensate and acknowledge the damage done which can never be restored. Regardless of what happens, Vic is going to spend the rest of his life on guard for another set of knives in the back. In fact, most people live like this already thanks to the #MeToo movement, and honestly that is what qualifies it as a societal ill.

I'm not an anime fan personally, but this is the reason I support Vic. This social movement to subvert justice, destroy lives, and eradicate trust must be stopped. If giving Vic some dollars leads to a win and robs some of the momentum from #MeToo, if even one innocent nobody is spared this treatment because of Vic's accusers getting BTFO'd in court, then it is well worth it.

Remember, it isn't just Vic we're fighting for, it is for every target of false allegation that we defend.

So people were talking about Kanzenshuu. I am in that forum and yeah the Vic discussion is one sided for most of them. I tried to put out my thoughts on the situation but was afraid that I would be banned like some person I know from there that was. I felt my words would be taken as victim blaming which wouldn't be my intention. A person in there said I could PM him my thoughts and so I did. While he was on the fence that Vic was somewhat guilty he completely understood what I was saying and never attacked me. Here were my thoughts


"So i've been following this shitstorm since it surfaced on twitter. I've always been on the standing with Vic because the dude seemed pretty chill. Ok I agree that he can be a diva but so is Sean but I don't see anyone at Funi getting on his case. While the homophobic and Anti Semitic complaints have weak arguments (they really do) the sexual assault is something that sorta has merit. While kisses on the cheek and forehead is something I don't deem as assault I can see why people will find uncomfortable or plain wrong. I feel that its complete misunderstanding. However I refuse to believe some stories like "I saw him kiss a 14 year old on the lips" because for one how do you know she was 14 in the first place? I can't understand why there has never a report on him like at all because I've heard he "has so much power". I'm like dude he ain't Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, or R Kelly, HE'S A FUCKING DUB VOICE ACTOR. They're the most poorest celebs out there. Another reason why I can't say I believe the stories is because it is SO easy to play victim in circumstances like this. An example I see is when Neil Kaplan told his Vic story IMO he tried to make it such a scary like he was a poor soul and Vic was just this high school frat boy bully and when I look at the video me and a lot of the comments on the video we're sitting here saying to ourselves "This is assault? A piggyback ride? Really?" This was really harmless fun. "His junk was on my neck" yes thats what a piggyback ride is.

Then there is the comment "I knew this for like a decade." You know who else has heard this for decade? VIC. He's tried to shut down these things for years. But you know why I'm not on the KickVic side because THEY ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES. I'm not saying that StandwithVic is perfect but in all honesty at least when they are proven wrong and are fed misinformation, they own up they realize their mistake and apologize. The people on the KickVic side whenever their information is disproven, they have this smug sorry not sorry attitude and it pisses me off. And using other people videos and pictures to try to get it to fit your narrative and having those said people in those things come out and telling you stop misconstruing their business to fit your narrative is HUGE RED FLAG. And then you got them trying to question the integrity of a lawyer who made the GoFundMe page. When its proven that said lawyer is an actual lawyer they don't own up to it their mistake and try to make yourselves look like you didn't make a mistake (I'm looking at you YonkouProductions), i'm sorry but FUCK YOU.

Then there is cons threatening to arrest people who support Vic. I'm like come on man that too far. You can't possibly defend that. Also fuck the people who call his fanbase a cult. You don't know what a cult is. A cult is something like Organization 13 (If you played Kingdom Hearts) or the Ministry of Darkness (if you watch WWF/WWE). Its just a fanbase. A fanbase with always defend something they're passionate about/ Also i've talked to those people in the Risembool Ranger fanclub and none of them fit the description people are saying. And screw that person who faked a SWAT just to make those people look bad. Hell most of them are in their 20's. And. Then. We. Get. To. The. Voice. Actors. Like it is sad that people who you consider your friends are not on your side but I do get why they aren't. HOWEVER, it does in any shape or form condone the attitude these voice actors have shown. Monica I get that you are trying to get people off your back because of how many people are questioning you about your comments on the whole situations but does not warrant you screenshotting tweets and taking them into your attorney and to top it all off who told you to stay off the damn internet. Some are just asking questions, they're not harassing at all. I'm sorry but I've lost a little respect for you for that. And then there is her fiance who pisses me off for being such an asshole. You threaten to assault Vic and then you try to take him to court because he had no control over and said before you even made that tweet and told everyone who is defending him to don't threaten people lives or harass them. And then he tries to make amends with Vic but fucking back peddles and keeps on doing the same thing he's been doing. That dude needs to do chill and act like an adult. Then there's Jamie Marchi and what she honestly needs to do right now is something my friend Chris Jericho would say "SHUT THE HELL UP." Nothing she says is right and her attitude is abysmal. Why does the victim have to act like an absolute asshole? Sean is Sean there is nothing new from him. It also hit me that if all these people know what Vic allegedly did, why didn't they do anything? I refuse to believe all of what they said fell on deaf ears. Imagine saying that to a judge and it look how bad that would make Funimation look. I'm sorry they are at fault there. But here's thing that I find funny. How is the only person in this debacle who is acting professional here is VIC MIGNOGNA. The alleged homophobic, anti Semitic, sexual harassing pedo. Thats all I got to say for right now. I hope my words won't come off as me victim blaming because thats not what i'm trying to do. I'm just here questioning these people actions and logic."

Oh boy, am I late to the party...guess I'll just give my opinion about the whole shitstorm.

I met Vic Mignogna at a con one year and got a hug in - this man gave off no creep vibes whatsoever and his hug wasn't a cold skeletal embrace, so I'm not surprised when people say meeting Vic helped them through tough times.
Also, epic lols to yaoi Tumblristas who get frothing mad when he politely refuses to sign their gay fan art; the man is an open Christian, you think he'd sign your degenerate shit? Actually, I think any anime VA would be smart enough to not sign NSFW, bad optics imo.

Just like Monica et al aren't keeping their sewer mouths shut and lying about swatting and faking bomb threats, which the FBI are asking what the fuck is going on. Jesus Christ, I know filing false reports to cops can be a felony, but what in regards to the freaking Federal Bureau of Investigation?

This shitstorm is great and I'm cautiously :optimistic: that this and other lawsuits regarding these identiarians/activist journalists could turn the tide of these exceptional culture wars.
You're campaigning to ruin the lives of people who are different than you? Don't expect to get away with it forever - karma doesn't discriminate.
