Someone noted this was for FFXIV, obviously Sony may have had a hand in it but it's more about the FFXIV team dealing with people leaving WoW (because BfA) and playing XIV instead.

WoW has a pretty aggressive and toxic playerbase and XIV is going to stomp that out as hard as they can because they're two very different games in terms of how they're played and how their communities are.

(Example - WoW wrote an API for modders to use in their game, resulting in a damage meter that you can dump into party chat after every pull as well as mods that will rate that players gear and tell you how much they should be doing and if they aren't doing what the mods suggest it's not uncommon to call that person a "being carried faggot". FFXIV has no API and using DPS meters is against the ToS and talking about them in party chat will get you a time out.)

That article should be named “Its International Women’s Day! Here Are 24 Ways You Can Legit Help Liberal Women”. The article talks about things like supporting Planned Parenthood and speaking out in groups that are predominantly white and increasing diversity. Those aren’t things that all women will necessarily agree with. I will say that I’m surprised there wasn’t at least one troon in this article telling women to allow troons into all facets of their lives, so I guess that’s a positive?
