The way I took it was this: There's plenty of high-profile gays/lesbians with political and social presence and clout who could totally put the kibosh on this transtrender bullshit and call that aspect of the LGBT community out. But they choose not to, because the train of thought in the community is that you have to unquestioningly support all members of all levels of batshittery, at all times, no matter hat sort of nonsense they're spewing. What does he mean by this? ?
Yeah I get what he was going to say, as I've seen similar arguments before, but at the time of my quoting that was the only thing and he hadn't fleshed out the entire thought. The way I took it was this: There's plenty of high-profile gays/lesbians with political and social presence and clout who could totally put the kibosh on this transtrender bullshit and call that aspect of the LGBT community out. Slave morality. The more weak and victimized you are, the more virtuous you are.Showing the worst members of a marginalized group has always been a strong point of conservative rhetoric. Why the left has fucking leaned into it is baffling.
“Yes, the absolute worst people? That’s our hill to die on”
if you want to use an actual trans character as your icon that's from an anime
peaking of which, there seems to be a fair amount of vets transition after leaving the army, doesn't there? Or maybe that's just a media bias for headlines about decorated, hardened men who turned out to be trans women all along.
Incidentally, during the war, the soldiers would often put on skits for their own amusement. Since women were not allowed at the front, some of the men would play the parts of women by doing a kind of mock dress-up (as in one scene from 'South Pacific'). Later, this tradition would be expressed in 'drag' shows during bike runs. So, masculine men pretended to be pretending to be women-not truly 'drag' at all. (lt. still happens in a few places.)

Alt right Youtuber Black Pigeon Speaks, once had a video up on Youtube that was titled "The Transgender: Normalizing MENTAL ILLNESS" which eventually got taken down, that showed pictures of Pentagon trannies from a live interview. That video was originally posted here. I don't know whether it was those Pentagon trannies who went and got his video taken down because he featured their pictures, but a Russian translation of BPS's video is still up and it still has the segment from the interview:
It's a publically known fact that trans activists were running a covert network within the army, using anonymization software, to get hormones to service members under the noses of their superiors during DADT (I suspect this is the real reason for the transban in the army, but it's not talked about). My personal theory was that they wanted to give estrogen to PTSD vets because estrogen increases oxytocin in the brain, and MDMA (which also increases oxytocin in the brain) was found to be an effective treatment for relieving PTSD.
The difference is that MDMA is illegal whereas estrogen is legal. Estrogen is thus a legal "source" of oxy whereas MDMA is not.
So telling PTSD vets they are "really women" and giving them estrogen is a great way to give them oxy for their PTSD without having to deal with the legalities of doing so.
Other than this, there is a historical context of crossdressing in the army: there was a culture of D/s feminization within the army that was related to the gay leather subculture. There are gay military leather "families" that persist to this day, they are very exclusive and have their own conferences where the one leather family represents the other leather family. They are extremely hierarchical and follow strict protocol in their interactions with themselves and other families. These were originally gay male-exclusive sexual subcultures, but straight couples were eventually allowed to participate. Men with PTSD had a warped sense of sex and engaged in extreme sex acts that were indicative of their PTSD, a lot of trauma reenactments, a lot of dominance and humiliation scenarios (a BDSM dominatrix called Mistress Midori once wrote a piece on her blog about being asked to perform Abu Ghraib reenactments during the War on Terror). This is where modern day BDSM originally arose, as a homosexual military passtime:

Oxytocin alone can be had for cheap prices. If that was indeed their aim, why not administer it directly?
As oxytocin comes into sharper focus, its social radius of action turns out to have definite limits. The love and trust it promotes are not toward the world in general, just toward a person’s in-group. Oxytocin turns out to be the hormone of the clan, not of universal brotherhood. Psychologists trying to specify its role have now concluded it is the agent of ethnocentrism.
...
Dr. De Dreu sees oxytocin’s effects as being very general, and no more likely to be associated with the religious experience than with soccer hooliganism. “When people get together with others who share their values, that drives up the level of oxytocin,” he said.
...
For military commanders, nothing is more important than the group cohesion of their soldiers, for which oxytocin might now seem the ideal prescription. But this assumption is a bridge too far, Dr. De Dreu said, given that his findings are based only on lab experiments.

The coming back stronger is totally true. Sometimes its not even 5-10. I have been back on forth on my identity for 7 years now coming back worse then before every couple years when something innocuous triggers it. Like saying I will wear stockings for the cristmas elf weak when I meant like green elf tights or something.
The usual started at 19 identifying with the women more when watching porn. Turned up googled am I trans etc. Whoops dont hate my dick guess I am not trans 'back in the egg/closet.
22-25 at Uni cropped back up thanks to sissy porn and being able to buy female clothes. Back to browsing trans subreddits. Whoops ended up here because of sissy porn and get excited and hard while dressing in panties and sexy clothes, guess I cant be trans must just be a fetish. Even though it was causing real problems mentally for me at uni managed to get my degree in the end and explained it away as must be because stress.
Last year 26 feelings came back stronger then ever decided it was finally time to open up to GP and see where I go next. This time though there is a wealth of people who have been in similar situations. I feel like the meme "I guide others to a power I cant possibly possess" but finially accepted I am probably trans. Only you can decide whats right for you but dont feel like you have to rush anything. I myself have a 2 year waiting peroid since I am in UK to figure more things out before I even get close to the E ♡

Wow that's very relatable for me. How did you get past the "it's just a fetish" feelings? Because I have the same experiences, almost exatly.

There's something to be said for that train of thought but I doubt these posters are remotely so liberal about basic freedom of speech rights much less complaining when trans fats and the big gulp are outlawed. That comment thread is a goldmine
The story set off my bullshit alarm so I looked at their comment history. I will eat my hat if that person is a medical professional. I stopped scrolling when they referred to Asians as "chingchongs." It's a troll/shit stirrer.
It's incredibly unethical to expose patient details on the internet for fun like that. I wouldn't be surprised if no one on the whole thread is a real professional.
I think this is how it works. Otherwise, you can lose your license by naming people and stuff that you did to them.Pretty sure it's all fair game as long as they don't use names
