4chan /cgl/ is talking about Vic, although more in relation to them annoyed at how he's increasing Anime Matsuris profile. They've been trying to ruin Anime Matsuri for years. Even though there are no better cons in the area. They'd rather see it crash and burn. They've been spreading it around the CEO is a pedophile, though as far as I know the age of consent is 16-17 in Texas?. And no ones reported rape, just sleazy guy making sexual innuendos all the time, buying girls gifts, and trying to hit on them through pms. So Anime Matsuri is just run by a thirsty incel? Shocking.

That's true lol. Deep down he probably wants to just go hard on him though since he does in every stream his name comes up.

That's the weird thing. Some retail sites have Vic listed and some don't. Nick said an Apple employ reached out to him and said they list what the company tells them to. If they even make a small type they can get in trouble over it.

Hard to say much just based on that but I think it puts Vic in a somewhat better situation than if he just had some vague, nebulous "prospective business relationships." It's easier to point to a specific contract term and say it was breached than that something speculative didn't happen because of something the defendant did.

I'm really glad media outlets has zero to no interest in following the weeb war. They would have latched onto KickVic side and the nazi and alt-right label would have been thrown around lot more with endless articles written about how misogynist we are and women should be believed without question.

Yea I actually interpreted it more as him poking fun at Shane than any specific legal consequence he might be facing - using him as a hypothetical example from a super chat question he answered. It was still hilarious. He's giving Shane grief on Twitter today over his chair again too. I don't think Nick is gonna let Shane off the hook for awhile, poking fun at him is just too easy.

It's rampant on /v/. I hate /pol/ shitposting as much as the next person but without fail there's at least one thread per hour or so with /pol/ shitters and obvious ResetEra retardation. When I started seeing /r/GamingCirclejerk memes on /v/ I wanted to off myself.

Shane is a mongoloid and while his activities are probably only marginally relevant to the actual case, he's just a hoot with his stupidity. I doubt there's much risk of prejudicing the proceedings by poking this sped.

I honestly think Nick knows more about the lawsuit at this point than he's letting on. That said, it's difficult to tell what is him having fun, and what is him telegraphing the actual targets (outside of Funimation, which seems to be a given). I've been more in the "Shane isn't a target" camp.

On the flip side, I'm growing more and more convinced MarzGurl is going to be named.
