PULL has found out apparently a con has decided to keep Vic despite the pressure on them, and he will have an escort.

There has got to be something wrong with their brains. How can you not doubt at all, any of the allegations, after they know of the fake swat and the mislabelled photos? Some of them have said "hes a sexual harasser at best and a rapist at worst". Do they have no ability to critically think? It's like the mentality a child has before they realize their parents don't know everything and they can possibly lie to them.
It seems humiliating, but in truth, having an "escort" is probably a really good idea for Vic right now - for his own safety just as much as the safety of any potential victims. That is, if there's someone with Vic at all times at this con, then there will also be someone who can attest that, at this con at least, he did not sexually assault anyone should anyone try to make a fresh accusation after it's over. In fact, if I were him, I'd probably be trying to get someone I can trust to act as my own escort alongside the stranger that the con provides.

After endless digging on youtube I've finally found video proof of Vic on top of a coworker sexually assaulting them.

Unfortunately for kickvic the "victim" is Scott McNeil and he's having fun with it.
I swear to fucking god if Scott McNeil of all people is on their side of all places...

Please don't be a cuck like Neil, Scott. You're better than that.

Shit, I would probably hire a bodyguard, too. Some anime bitches are just unhinged, as this thread has proven.

"I want his head, I want his balls." ?

That would just be proof he's a sexist and a rapist. Look at the shit they said about Mike Pence when he said that's exactly what he does to avoid allegations against him.

Is... this like not a thing at US conventions? UK and European conventions I went to, all the guests had an assigned chaperone.

Hello, all!

I was watching Nick Rekieta's streams and he mentioned this site. I wanted to check in on what's being discussed here and what's being recorded.

I have a few questions about some periphery information.
1) Did anyone catch Adam Sheehan's first tweet about Samantha Inoue-Harte's SWATting?
He posted two tweets that said the following:
"Someone in the anime community who spoke up about the Vic had their door kicked in by a SWAT team this morning after someone made a fake 911 call. They said they stand with Vic on the call. This garbage person is on your team #StandWithVic people. #KickVic "
He then tweeted "Luckily the person who got their door kicked in was not hurt. The police apologized for the act and are helping to fix the door."
I know he deleted these tweets and replied with this:

2) I noticed earlier in the thread someone mentioned Shatner and his reaction to Vic Mignogna and Star Trek Continues, are you aware of this tweet?
Someone brought up the tweet that broke the camel's back, but Shatner DID block ALL of the cast members of Star Trek Continues.
This includes Chris Doohan, the son the actor who played Scotty aka James Doohan:

3) Would Rooster Teeth's situation with David "Knuckles Dawson" Dreger be relevant?
I'm assuming everyone is aware of what I'm talking about.
If not, here is a summary and some links to catch people up to speed:
David "Knuckles Dawson" Dreger was an early community contributor to Rooster Teeth's Achievement Hunters, similar to Jeremy Dooley and Matt Bragg prior to being hired. He was very involved in the community.
Here he is in one of the early Achievement Hunter updates:

Some of the Achievement Hunter guides he did for Trials HD:

He also provided voice work for background characters in Red vs. Blue, Rooster Teeth's flagship show:

Sometime in 2011, Rooster Teeth inexplicably cut all ties with him and left fans dumbfounded over the situation.
Here is Achievement Hunter's Jack Patillo (rhymes with armadillo) in AMA on reddit confirming Rooster Teeth's company policy on Dreger:
On May 26, 2013, Dreger disappeared:

About a month later, his body was discovered:

Rooster Teeth co-founder, Burnie Burns, made this statement:

Red vs. Blue's episode 2 of Season 11 contained a memorial message to Dreger in the outro:

On April 10, 2015, former Rooster Teeth employee Brandon "Fragger" Light revealed why Rooster Teeth ostracized Dreger
(the original no longer exists):
Thankfully, someone did screencap the original post:

Fragger responded in a reddit post to clarify himself:

Since members of this forum are aware of JewWario, Funimation's list of degenerates (Scott Freeman and Illich Guardiola), and Gerard Jones (translated Dragon Ball for ViZ Media in the early 2000s), might as well air out Rooster Teeth's dirty laundry.

Oh yeah just notice this was talked on page 217.
I was hoping PULL would notice the con hosting Rekieta, but no such luck. Instead, one member says something marginally intelligent (a first for them, I'm sure), and bunch of others speculate in an exceptional manner on the conventions staffer monitoring Vic at that one convention being his mother or having a "Vic alert" if he invites someone to his bedroom.

Maybe? The two cons I regularly go to (Sacanime, which is biannual and coincidentally had Vic there at lease once a year, and KrakenCon, before it shut down) always had guests tailed by someone.. Don't know if they were personal agents of the VAs or ones assigned by the venue/con, but I do know someone was always tagging along after them, and there was always one or two people next to them in the autograph lines.

Um... excuse me, but...

Honestly, it sounds like a liability thing and I dunno if we have any such legalities to worry about like in the UK.

In the case of the cons I have done, they did it to... ya know, stop nutjob fans doing stupid shit.

Reaaaaaaally seems like they got ahead of the curve on that one.

I dunno what insurance companies demand in the UK as they do in the US. However, I can confirm that the threshold for stupid shit is much, much higher in the US.

1. Yes and I think most people following this are up to date on the fake SWAT stuff.

2. According to Vic he personally asked Shatner to his face about this supposed feud and Shatner had no clue what he was talking about (an STC crew member confirmed seeing the exchange), so who knows if it's even him running the account. There was a final twitter exchange where they seem to have come to some resolution here: https://twitter.com/vicmignogna/status/1044735457978834944

I archived those tweets you talked about, along with Sean Schemmel’s. Here you go.

I was wondering why hanleia wasn't addressing anything on her Twitter. That's because she's been gossiping somewhere else. I don't think the lawsuit will target her honestly, because she's just part of the group of yaoi fangirls that go back as far as 2006 that wanted his head for not being enthusiastic enough about their fantasy buttsex. They'll go after the people with actual platforms that signal boosted things, and added the air of legitimacy to rumor.

Still feel like slapping the shit outta her though. What an arrogant ass.
She is under some misconceptions. This is a Civil Matter. Nobody will seekto extradite her. (Assuming earlier info is correct and she is in Japan.) But if the info is correct she is a US Citizen. If she is sued she has the choice of appear or not appear. If she doesn’t appear if sued a default judgement gets entered against her. Based on that a Lien will be filed, which will show up the next time she lands in Hawai and May Effect anything she has in the bank. Standing on foreign soil and shouting Nyah Nyah you can’t touch me is not a smart move in a civil suit when you carry a US passport or citizenship.
I've seen this said earlier in the thread, so I might as well address it: people don't get booked for failure to appear in civil court. They get booked for failing to appear in criminal court because that means they broke bail and and thus the law. In a civil case, if the defendants ignore summons or fail to appear in court, then what happens is the court renders what is called a default judgment against the defendant on behalf of the plaintiff. Essentially, a failure to appear is considered a "forfeit victory" (to use sports terminology); the failure to take action is the default. Its similar to pleading "no contest" in a criminal court case; by default the defendant has refused to contest the claims made against them by not showing up to contest them. If that happens in a trial that involves damages, the damages pleaded in the original complaint are what are entered and enforced against the defendant, though if proof of damages is required, there may be a separate hearing for that. The only way a default judgement can be vacated by the defending party is if they file a motion to do so (which they must do promptly) and show "good cause" for their lack of reason to appear. So if the likes of Marzgirl and such are properly served but simply ignore it, the judge will just issue a default judgment and they lose anyway. Individual states have their own laws regarding this, and I have no idea what Texas's laws are regarding this.
And then what happens? How do they enforce the verdict?

Once you get a Judgement, be it default or at trial, you make a reasonable effort to collect. When that fails you file for liens on property, finances, etc. Y’know that phrase “you can lose everything”? That’s what it means. One day your bank accounts will be seized. Your property may be impounded. And a lien can be placed against anything you earn. Declaring bankruptcy may soften the blow, and may prevent your house from being sold out from under you. But it doesn’t discharge the judgement. So when you do sell property it goes towards the judgement. This is a bad state to be in. It’s pretty much as life destroying as falsely accusing someone of being a sexual predator to destroy their career and any future work prospects. Turnaround is a bitch.

Lets say that Monica, her tool of a boyfriend, and throw in Funi in the mix actually do have actual evidence and they waited till they went into court to actually show it. The question is why they never shown it on twitter so this can be put to bed real quick instead of the fiasco we're dealing with? Screw the testimonial bullshit just show us a video thats not unedited or is someone elses and prove to us that Vic is the sick man he is. Monica once said that we wouldn't get her because it was too sensitive however her actual wasn't all that horrifying. Yes he kissed you and triggered your PTSD but that isn't the sick man you were saying. And for the people who've we don't deserve evidence and we should just believe victims. You ever heard of a man named Michael Jackson? Have you seen the crap that is going is on with him especially add in the fact that he's dead and he can't defend. The Simpsons episode he was in is now never going to be seen on TV. Monuments of him are being taken down. And all because of a half ass documentary about something that was dealt with twice when he was alive. There comes a point where we need to stop the notion of believing victims and start having second guesses. I've read a tweet by KickVic supporter after Vic got fired from Funi and she said that we she treating women as actual people. No shit women are actual people the point of the whole thing is that people and we've have seen this from the KickVic side (and the IStandWithVic but atleast they own it up)

If it isn’t presented in discovery it isn’t coming in at trial. There is no surprise courtroom evidence (other than evidence one or the other side lied under oath.) Both sides know what is going to be presented to the judge and jury beforehand. Real Law is not like on TV. Surprise in the courtroom means somebody fucked up. Which is bad. Judges really hate surprises. Judges tend to hammer whatever causes surprises.

Edit. One more thing. I’m not sure about Texas, but in many jurisdictions the costs of enforcing and collecting a Judgement, get added to the Judgement. So if the Plaintiff has to file for Liens etc, all those extra legal and administrative costs go on the final bill.

Oh and one more bit of fun fuckery. Texas is one of those states where if you lose, you have to put up a Bond for the full amount of the Judgement before you can appeal. This prevents the defendant from exhausting all of their assets on lawyers filing endless appeals. leaving nothing to fulfill the judgement. (It used to be a common approach to litigation.) That little clause is what killed Gawker the first time. (Oh look! It might just do it again with io9!)
