Punishments become an issue if the lawyers themselves participate in the fabrication or perjury. That doesn't extend to them simply introducing bad evidence when they don't know it's bad.

Which they would be if they advanced an argument they outright knew was false. Hence, they can't advance an argument based on the client's innocence if, in fact, they know outright that the defendant is guilty. (A legal argument that what the client did wasn't a crime is different.)

Hence, a defense lawyer may choose not to ask a client "Did you do it?" They don't want to know.

Lynzee Loveridge, ANN’s managing interest editor
Let me fix that ... Layzee Coveridge

More like Lynzee, soon to be out of work, hopefully.

I don't think she has the benefit of the Gawker writers that scattered into the rest of Gizmodo when the lights came on. Nor can I see any of these other cash strapped organizations being quick to hire her.

I am curious how Twitter feels now that they know Vic is still getting work on Jojo considering the recent dub episode is Rohan centric.
I remember when I first heard his voice as Rohan as it aired on Toonami. I had to laugh. I went on Twitter to see that alot of people were pissed off because they feel that Rohan was a gay character and Vic (the supposed homophobe) drove them crazy

Rohan is as straight as can be.

I’m starting to think Shane might be (and I do mean this in the most literal sense of the word) r/etarded. I’ve been suspecting it for a while now, but the lady that appeared in the stream isn’t his wife, it’s his caretaker. The kids he said he had, they don’t exist, those toys that appeared on the stream are his.

We need to be better Kiwis, let’s not make fun of the mentally r/etarded.
You realize this isn't the site to be saying that? Plus Shane deserves all the r.etard shaming just based on his behavior alone. Anyone who takes part in a false flagging #metoo campaign clearly has some kind of mental issue. I wouldn't be surprised if it let out that Marchi has some form of 'tism going on.

Literally everyone. Which is why it's so shocking to see Lynzee talking to newspapers. ANN seems to be just as bad at reigning in their staff as Funimation is

I will say this: I don't think it's happenstance that JT, a newspaper not even based in the US, is the one that broke the long silence. I would not be surprised if they've been shopping this crap around for weeks and JT was the only taker. Promulgation of their narrative, since confirmation of the suit, has been very weak.

I checked Twitter and many were annoyed that Vic still has the role, with some voices telling both sides to shut up due to Rohan being center focus in the next few dubs.

Maybe they're relying on not being in the U.S. whereas anyone familiar with the situation inside the U.S. realizes they're just adding themselves to a list of defendants by signing on to this horseshit.

And that just makes them look like idiots, Vic more than likely recorded those lines before Rial and Marzgurl decided to drag him through the horseshit-laden minefield that is #kickvic.

I remember that, too. I'm pretty sure he was even trending for a little bit because of the outrage, it was hilarious.

I don't think ANN approached him, I saw the author of the article in Vic's tag on twitter asking for people to recommend who he talk to for his story. I thought it was pretty lazy "journalism" to fish on twitter instead of actually doing the research himself and figuring out who the key players were in the story.

I want to see the whole industry burnt to the ground and all the IPs sucked back into Japan, safe from leftist contamination. All the voice work can be done by English teachers working part time for $100 an episode.
Best case scenario is Speedy becoming the official English dub for the world.

Mokuba's voice actress in this too? How many dub companies are out there? How does she know that the they stopped working with him

That's how most "journalists" do work now anyways. Tim Pool talked about this on Joe Rogan. Most journalists on the "left" just follow each other and just continuously jerk each other off when it comes to stories and scoops. Whereas most "right" or "center" journalists are more likely to follow people from everywhere on the politically spectrum which is why they're more likely to provide more balanced reporting. They're also at risk to heavily biased reporting, they're just by and large less afflicted by it than their left-wing counterparts.
