Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

Got another unfriend from a close friend due to the great feminism shitstorm of '14. They waited days after the fact though, which is strange but w/e.

Who'd have thought that all I had to do to ruin friendships that've lasted years isn't anything related to my mental illnesses or deliberate acts of self destruction and attempts to push people away, but just say I no longer cared to label myself a feminist and supported gamergate?

SJWs, at least the extreme ones, don't think in terms of friendship or opinions, but sides. A book I read once had a great line about how conflicts begin over differing opinions on issues, but by the time the conflict becomes a war, it's not about the issue, it's about how much each side hates each other. SJWs act as if they're going to war. Their side (that is, their exact rhetoric on any given topic) is Right and therefore anyone who disagrees for ANY reason is, obviously, the Enemy. History doesn't matter, good times you shared don't matter, just what side of some random line you're on regardless of what experience or opinion put you on it. I've lost two friends to the mania. They used to be totally cool people with progressive social leanings who could actually take a joke or enjoy a piece of media. Now they're just angry and hateful and social extremists all the time. It sucks. =/

I agree with this 100%. I don't think SJWs really have friends, they have alliances. Friends are there for each other no matter what; they look past and respect their differences and when their bond is strained, they work to repair it because they treasure their relationship. Alliances are something that can be broken at the drop of a hat; it's simple. "You're not useful to me anymore/you don't agree with me anymore, so we're done."

It really shows that they don't actually care about people as people.

I see posts above talking about Japan and sexism, and lemme just say, SJDs would absolutely FUCKING LOATHE my old Japanese professor. She got an office job before becoming a teacher, and absolutely hated it. If you think the pay disparity between men and women is bad in America, Japan has it even worse, and that's on top of the shittily sexist attitude Japanese office workers have towards women. It was so bad that she quit, went back to school, studied abroad in Australia, got a teaching degree, legally immigrated to the US, married an American, and had two kids with him. She still goes back to Japan on vacation sometimes, but she wouldn't dare dream of going back there when she has it good here.

My feminist friend thinks a big part of this is because Japan never had a women's revolution of its own. Things are far from rainbows and peaches for women in America, but compared to Japan, we have it pretty good.

There was no time for it. They went from being an incredibly imperialistic culture in the early 20th century, to one that resented American imperialism and control over it by the end. So they first asserted that they could do it their own way, and then they made it so pushing other ways on them was bad. It just so happens both of those things are the women's empowerment movements. Centuries of weird sexual mores don't help either.

Again: I used to think the "2D girlfriend" concept was a stereotype, but it's apparently a growing thing along with women just focusing on career and not bothering with the men. Women and men don't want to have to put in the effort when they can just spend the money on themselves. It would be an option (though a bizarre one) if Japan's population wasn't going to drop by half in a few decades.

Did anyone figure out exactly how many different genders were on the list? I tried counting them up and lost count after about 150 at "fictigender" or whatever it was. And even then, I know for a fact that I didn't get even half of them. I've got to estimate at least 6-800 pronouns. How about you guys?

Either I'm really dumb, really insane, really bored, or a mix of those for trying...

I can't believe I read through all of those. The thing that pisses me off the most about the whole Tumblr gender trender malarkey, that it marginalises actual gender identity issues.

Speaking of gender and something that is popular among Tumblrinas, I know someone who considers themselves to be genderless. They prefer (and very nicely ask people those close to them) to use the singular they but will not ever get pissy over someone using he/she. They still know they have a biological sex and since sex and gender are so tightly interwoven, they know people will use pronouns on whether they perceive a person to be a dude or a chick. There's no Special Snowflake Syndrome with them!

I mean, take moongender - "a nonbinary gender connected to the moon and various aspects of it (the goddess Artemis, werewolves, etc.) possible pronouns: moon/moons/moonself, wolf/wolfs/wolfself, howl/howls/howlself, etc". The literal fuck is this? That isn't a gender, that's grounds for being sectioned to a psychiatric hospital. Then you get the vaguely cutesy terms like volcanogender - a gender that is dormant most of the time. That isn't how gender works.

Sorry if it seems like I'm sperging here. I myself am transgender and do a lot of work with young people who have genuine gender identity issues. Seeing the whole Tumblr/SJW transtrender bollocks is quite aggravating.

If some ASKS me to use a pronoun in will you us They Ze or hir that find but for good gravy sakes

The Mogi site is great so many terms half them this is only for otherkin or this is only for people with x disorder

ok systemgender takes the cake although perhaps only by not get into the only for otherkin only
a nonbinary gender experienced by members of a multiple and/or median system. other systems can also come up with names. (i.e. headmates all have different nonbinary genders but are looking for something to describe the gender of the system as a whole.)
note: only for those in multiple and/or median systems.
coined by: anonymous

and of course because it a comonly accepted GenderQueer(Which is how I id to an extent ) is not on the list am being oppressed by the SJW

Those shitlords didn't even put my gender on their list. I'm a horrible burn victim and that makes me special and I demanded to be recognized for how I relate as a non-binary gender based on the burns I previously mentioned. #Burnedgender #Honest Hearts #Shitlords #triggered #PTSD
Oh and remember people that subscribe to the binary gender way of thinking are the crazy ones.

Apparently, they think so little of "gender" that they let their gender be defined by other traits they might possess.

I've said it before... I get confused trying to seperate sexual orientation, mental gender, and gender roles. I accept this as a challenge of mine. I think SJWs suffer this too, but they insist that the confusion is your problem, not theirs.
