In other news PULL thinks that Vic is gay because he's vaguely religious.

Fucking fujoshis.

"I am the victim of cyberstalking. The stalker, who has also violated a protective order, slandered me on KiwiFarms.net. This resulted in a lawsuit. Nick Rekieta made a video mocking me and slandering me. He mocked me as a pro-se litigant attempting to solve a dispute with non-violent means. He is acting as an enabler for the libel at KiwiFarms.net and the stalker. He is trying to discourage pro-se litigants. He is not advocating equal protection of the laws nor professionalism nor justice."

Melinda Scott in a nutshell.

I can't wait for this woman to get her lawsuit in the mail and piss her pants.

Nah, that won't be the piss her pants moment. She'll get her lawsuit in the mail, reach out to Funimation / Sony, and they'll refuse to return her call. THEN the urine will happen.

You know, weebs and yaoi fanatics are probably not the best people to judge if something is “creepy” or not. Vic being friendly to them could have been considered “creepy” because it’s something they’re not used to.

Fujoshits themselves are disgusting and creepy and not arbiters of anyone else's creepiness.

Can we get confirmation on that? Why does only Vic have the reputation of not doing that if that's the case (since I presume other VAs would have similar clauses in their contracts)? Is it just that Vic is the only one who actually enforces the clause?

It makes sense from not only a "hentai is bad" perspective - they probably don't want people doing fan art to be able to increase the value of their art (rather than official merchandise) with a VA's signature - so I'm not necessarily doubting his contract says something like that. Just wondering why he in particular has the reputation of being anti-yaoi.
It is not just voice actors asking any "guests" to sign non-official merchandise have been a big no-no especially with Japanese and other foreign guests.

Not to mention, even if Vic were legally allowed to sign unofficial artwork, I'd still back his refusal on moral grounds, simply because NO ONE should be forced to violate their conscience and religious convictions, and any attempt to coerce someone to do so I would consider wholly unjust.
I agree 100% but crap like this really show that there to many weak minds today who just can't accept different beliefs and ideas and sadly it always goes out of place for the situation that should have been dealt with in a more manor tone.

Not just that but if the twitter trials were to continue could lead to some Killdozer/YT HQ shooting level of stuff. I mean if you can't seek justice/tell your side in the courts some might take their justice by their own hands.
Honestly a part of me wonders if these outrage mobs lead to someone committing suicide from them. This is a dark thought but I think if a normal everyday person dealt with this shit, they'd have really nothing.

In other news PULL thinks that Vic is gay because he's vaguely religious.

Another reason to not trust all the accounts that he's homophobic. Because the baseline for so many of these girls is that everyone they find cute is gay.

I also like how Marzgurl says, 'These are rumours and speculation and are not to be taken as fact' - when the exact same thing could be said about all the rumours and speculation surrounding Vic being a sexual predator. Funny how just one is fun internet conversation and the other is srs bsns even at the same level of truth to them...

Nick went on an epic rant at PULL and "hate speech". Damn great to see them get pwnage.
