So basically if he can't get that refinance now he's not going to get the kind of money he wants. SELL. SELL. SELL. But he won't.

Nah. He straight up bought that condo because the owner's girlfriend worked with him and he had a thing for her.Wasn't infinite appreciation his projection for the CT condo as well?
Uh Oh: https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/bu...g-county-s-housing-market-cool-down/831141884
"Buyers and sellers in the Seattle area are feeling the triumph and pain of a cooling real estate market in Western Washington."
"The cooldown in the sizzling hot real estate market is being felt by Catherine Sabol and her family, whose home in Renton has been on the market for about a month."
This guy is desperate for money. Evidenced by him selling his dvd and bluray collection to a thrift shop for a couple hundred dollars. Considering how big that collection is, its probably in the realm of $1-3 per movie.
But not desperate enough for TTS
What a topsy turvy world Dave lives in
He 'sold' a handful of the Hundreds of DVDs he "never watches" for a stream reported grand sum of ~$1 a piece. I speculate it was more a need to open up space in the racks to house the new DVDs bought than an actual fund-raising. Someone looking to get money from their DVDs would sell them on E-bay/Amazon where you'd be hard pressed to even find a movie selling for under $1.99. Aplayable copy impossible to buy in a store now sells for even more!*either its a move to look poor or he is not lying and he truly is broke

I'm gonna piggyback off these ideas and say that the mass-selling of blurays was to clear room in that sad little dining area for a complete refurnishing. No matter how he tried to spin his new house, it still reeked of bachelor pad. A wall of cheap dvd racks looks like shit. No one has seen most of his first floor since the drunk tweets, and at most we've heard that Kat liked to fall asleep next to the fire when she was ill. I'd bet all that shit's remodeled.I suspect this was more likely a case of Kat suggesting (or more likely telling him) that he he sell those DVDs.
My issue with this is first he sure as hell couldnt do it himself (evidenced by flying the sickly parents out to “help” paint, hang blinds, and do some light yard work. Also I don’t know of any contractor that would work around his autistic schedule and would have been heard and bitched about by Dave to try to hide it’s purpose. Hell I’d bet some decent money there’s still the water damage in that closet so I think the only change is most of her shit is down stairs where she segregates herself from the piggy.I'm gonna piggyback off these ideas and say that the mass-selling of blurays was to clear room in that sad little dining area for a complete refurnishing. Not all his money. D$P has stated that his Tips are his 'cash-on-hand' spending money....while also saying that they go directly to his bills, I lean more toward the truth being in the first statement. Tips he gets "right away" where they sit burning a hole in his pocket. His Cheer/Sub/YT/Twitch ads/Pay-me-tons/merch money goes to the bills with any Tip money left over covering what shortfalls there might be....if there are any Tips left after his weekly Day Off with Khet going to the Mall and eating out multiple meals*. I'm sorry, but someone in actual financial difficulty would not take a Day Off AND go Out to Eat even one meal that day let alone 4+ every month.DSP literally has no money. All of his money goes straight to credit cards then he pays for everything with the freed up credit limit. He's technically not lying when he says he's broke...
According to Phil, once he gets back from his trip to Connecticut, he's going to have to start preparations to sell the house. He's not exaggerating this time, folks. He can barely afford to pay his bills! Those taxes need to be paid! There's nothing else he can do!

HINT HINT, PIGGIES, BETTER CONTRIBUTE WHEN HE'S NOT STREAMING. STAYING AT A HOTEL, GOING TO THE ZOO AND EATING AT RESTAURANTS FOR EVERY MEAL ISN'T CHEAP, OKAY?
Nothing will happen. Phil will quickly and quietly claim he was somehow able to come up with enough money to pay his taxes or was able to negotiate a payment plan and move on to the next scam.
watch, he'll get little to no moneyHINT HINT, PIGGIES, BETTER CONTRIBUTE WHEN HE'S NOT STREAMING. STAYING AT A HOTEL, GOING TO THE ZOO AND EATING AT RESTAURANTS FOR EVERY MEAL ISN'T CHEAP, OKAY?

I don't think that just an IRS payment plan will help Phil. He still has to pay, what, $4,000 (don't quote me on that since its all guessing) in bills+credit card debt every month?Let’s ignore the fact that IRS gives you options if you can’t pay. Let’s ignore the fact that they offer special forms to fill out to be put on a payment plan for people in his situation. Let’s also ignore the fact that the irs wouldn’t do shit for years but he makes it seem like they are on standby ready to pound his ass on April 16th.

With a payment plan he can keep the tax scam running all year. Every month will be an emergency where if he misses a payment his house will be sucked into a vortex like the end of Poltergeist.I don't think that just an IRS payment plan will help Phil.
