That's valid, my problem is that I just don't see where the audience for it is. Who's going to be sympathetic to his actions and what they read in his manifesto, who doesn't already know and agree with everything in there? I think he just got redpilled too fast and lost his shit.

What is scary about it is that the dude is not insane. You can't just handwave his malevolence away with "he's just nutbars". He knew exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and had a logical reason for doing so. Its far easier to just assume someone who does something like this is nuts.

8chan will die of natural causes soon enough anyway at this rate, no sense targeting it. Listening to Null read the manifesto on stream made it sound like he wanted to become the ultimate /pol meme though.

Welp, it was nice knowing you guys. If you thought the MSM and the Silicon Valley social media firms lost their shit after something recent like Charlottesville or Parkland and had their deplatforming/censoring trigger fingers itchier than a Las Vegas whore's taint, hold onto your asses. All this is going to tell them is that what's left of the Wild West of the internet has to be tamed much more severely

As for any gun debate in the US that may come of this, it's just going to be the same dog and pony show we've seen 20 years ago. Nothing is going to change

His audience was not his fellow travelers. It was the far left and the Muslims. His actions were calculated to get the Muslims to retaliate and engender more ill will, and his manifesto was written specifically to trigger the far left establishment into overreacting and taking it out on the more right wing elements of their society and their sacred cows. Think a step ahead of the first step. He doesn't want his fellow white nationalists to be inspired. He wants his enemies to react and thus create more white nationalists.

People definitely get desensitized to videos and I think that's pretty normal. There's a level of detachment but I think like you said, the audio breaks the dissociation. The video really didn't bother me much until I heard the woman beg for her life. I knew what I was seeing was something horrible but it didn't seem real until then, if that makes sense.

I'm not a fan of Muzzies by a long shot, but shit I just got started watching the shooting and my hearts fucking sinking. Like it must be terrifying to literally ave to huddle in a corner for safety while some faggot that takes memes too seriously is killing your friends and family right in front of you.

We're probably not going to know much more for a few days. The AU/NZ counter-terrorism agreement has been activated which means that the military and intelligence agencies are also now involved.

That's what they wanted. More division, they think this will cause a civil war in america. (which is fucking the most exceptional thing ever written.) But they are getting the polarization they wanted. Just like Bin laden wanted to bankrupt the usa by dragging them into a never ending war.
