To be fair, its for the same reason the police don't want you to see the Columbine videos or other mass shootings, so not inherently for nefarious purposes. But what they don't realize is we don't live in that world anymore, we live in a world where if the footage is out there, it's out there. I think videos like this will be invaluable for future historians as primary source documents, and even for right now, being able to see the raw footage is critical in informing the public on the event. It's good that people can see acts of inhumanity if they so wish to.
