Its interesting he chose to target Islam, since from what I hear its mainly the Chinese taking over Australia, both in terms of demographics and economics. I've heard it suggested that White Nationalism is for whites what extremist Islam is for brown people, and in wanting to get retribution on Muslims for terrorist attacks in Europe he ultimately mirrored them.

It's a long story and it's been some time since I've gone over the details but basically the British gave away Buddhist ancestral land in Arakan to the Bengali imports that the British brought to the area. Nah, look at the years of prep he invested. He was sincere in his manifesto. This wasn't mere whimsy to him, even though he did inject humor into his works. He was lucid, intelligent, and calculated, not insane, not a flailing kid. I think because of his methodical manner there are not going to be copycats so much as followers and adherents who sympathise with his cause who work towards similar goals.

I'm sure he'll inspire many mentally deranged, but the bigger danger would be that he inspires more just like himself. Probably nothing big will arise from this, it'll have to be lone wolf, as communications and group planning will prove stumbling blocks that could squelch would-be conspirators.
