The only thing that I ever heard was that he was an asshole/creepy Christian dude/homophobe. Those were the only rumors I ever heard, regarding Vic Mignogna. Even if allegations of sexual misconduct were floating on the web, they weren't what he was primarily being accused of, from my experience.

That said, I decided to ignore the rumors, since they seemed few and far in between and met the dude on several occasions. He's incredibly personable, charismatic, and generally a sweetheart. There's a stark difference between meeting a Sean Schemmel (sp?), a Monica Rial, a J. Michael Tatum, vs. meeting a Vic. Sean was bitter, Tatum was an ice queen, and Monica was incredibly fake.

I've had a lot of good fan experiences, one of them including Chis Sabat, which is why that dude gets comparable lines to Vic's. Chris is also the reason I withheld judgement, waiting for someone to come out with more evidence or ... something. Because, usually, you'll see at least one girl coming out of the woodwork, claiming rape. Interestingly, that's not the case here. And Chris is still being very vague in DMs, Monica's story is a copy pasta, and I wouldn't trust Marchi or Jessie Pridemore (who's reputation precedes her, and definitely makes me question everything she says).

I guess this means her good friend, Chris Sabat, is guilty of sexually harassing that one dude from Anime Outsiders.

I definitely don't trust Monica and Jamie's definition of "sexual assault" anymore.

The only things bad on it amount to "I heard some rumors" and "I heard he's a dick." Most other people had nothing but positive things to say about him. Including con staff and chairs.

Interestingly, Jim Vowels, the Otakon guy who Japan Times interviewed, said Vic was fine back in 2009.

The real world will hit them once Vic wins his lawsuit. Let's see if they get it or not? Either way? These people need to keep quiet or more people will know about them soon including Vic. Someone already sent the image and forum to the lawyer Nick on DMs. It will be interesting if he talks about them in a live stream soon.

Not really that bad, it's accepted that if you're a weeb you're degenerate. I wouldn't advise trying to use their moral puritan angle against them, it doesn't always work.

It rarely works, since they HAVE to always be in the right, or their fellows will strike them down for straying from The Path.

Anything and everything 'bad' they do is automatically good, or else they're the literally hitlers, and that's the kind of mental stress the human psyche tries very, very hard to prevent from happening. Cognitive dissonance is a defensive mechanism when the brain realizes it's in too deep, but it can't stop now.
