These kids believed in the sins caused them, and wrote about it in extensive detail. Sure, their moral grandstandings are nothing but insane ramblings from persecuted children, rationalizing their misery, but it is not nihilism.

I had the understanding that Dylan Klebold actually had more of a victim mentality, and more reasons for hating the people they killed. Eric Harris was a straight up psychopath who just wanted to kill people, and he manipulated Dylan's hatred. Dylan probably wouldn't have killed on his own. Eric planned it for 4/20 because wanted to out-do the WTC bombing, that has nothing to do with a moral code he just wanted to get the high score.

I never said he didn't have a goal. His goal was to sow pain. He doesn't have a side in this, he doesn't care about the 'right' or the pressure that will come to deplatform them. That's exactly what he wants. He wants to put pressure on the right, he wanted to exploit the left's rabid identarian ideology as well as its lust for money off of tragedy. He wants to spur copycats, he wants protestors shot at marches, no matter their ideology.

He did this for his own pleasure. Not for the lulz or any other reason. I never said he had no goal. I just don't think this is based on ideology as much as the traditional serial killers motive of pleasure from suffering. He just wanted it on a more grandiose scale.

I kind of consider "for his own pleasure" to be the same as "for the lulz", but that's kind of immaterial. He clearly had a goal to make the world bettter as he envisioned, though. To make the left ape out, grind the right, and have the right finally wake up and stomp back, assuming a victory for the right.

I suppose it could be interpreted as you do, but I don't personally find that very believable. He was quite explicit, and this is a standard motivation in these sorts of speds.
