Dont know if this was pointed out before but...
...it wasnt really noticeable, but since he plays these silly retro games that does not use fullscreen, you can see that he uses a grey background on his leaderboard and when the screen is fully black, its very noticeable AND IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP. Why not just use a transparent background? why does it look soo bad? Its maybe nitpicking but it really annoys me.

Just barely above average, and the camera hides his score per minute, so you can't see the only stat that shows how trash he is.

He actually did that himself. He talked about it in a pre-stream a couple of days ago.
Fun fact: he was already regretting it today and telling Kozatof he has been banned "a million times before for doing that kind of stuff" (complaining about games/boredom in chat) .

KingKozatof, you literally complain at every single RPG I've every played and said they're all boring. Then why are you here? If you know you don't like RPGs and you know I was playing a throwback RPG today, why are you here? Realtalk, why? Why sit here and complain all day?
I just never understood that. I HAVE A SCHEDULE! You know what I mean? I have a schedule, you know what I'm playing. So if you're like: "I don't like RPGs, but I'm going tocome and complain on the RGP stream that RPGs are boring." NO! Just don't come by then! Seriously! KingKozatof, you've been banned a million times and unbanned a million times for things like this, so you should know better. You should know to not sit here and complain when there are people who are enjoying it. Don't sit here and complain that you personally don't like it! Alright? No one cares.
I totally understand that people come by and watch my streams just to hang out and that they're friends with a lot of people in the stream chat, so "I'm gonna come by no matter what Phil's playing, I wanna hang out with my friends in the chat. Fine! But then you don't have the right to sit here and complain about the game being played, you just don't! You don't! Because there's other people who are enjoying themselves, they don't want to be drugged(?) down by that, okay? So chill out with that stuff.

See, here's what I don't get: I played Dragon Quest XI, super long playthrough, and we had a core group of people, probably about 200 to 300 people who always showed up to watch me play DQXI. Even though you might argue the game wasn't the most riveting, we all had fun. We hung out, we had discussions, it was a great playthrough because it was a SOCIAL PLAYTHROUGH. That's how RPGs work! That's how they work on streams! So if you're bored: TALK TO ME ABOUT SOMETHING! Just don't sit there and complain that you're bored. Talk to me about something and we'll have a conversation that'll be FUN.

That's pretty difficult when (1) DSP shuts down or refuses to participate in any conversion not involving the game or (2) DSP constantly gives non-answers when asked questions unrelated to video games.
Edit: And as the two posters that ninja'ed me pointed out, it's DSP's job to start the conversation, not the other way around.
The problem with that though is that DSP lives in such a tiny bubble that he might not actually know anything else. The one thing he could talk about (WWE) he chooses not to for whatever reason.

It's just funny how dumb Phil is coming off. As others have said it's not the viewers job to start the conversation. It's the streamer. Always has always will be.
But what I find funny is that Phil is the one saying people can come to his stream and support it by watching and talking to others when he is known for telling off his viewers who "derail" the stream that has nothing to do with him or the game he is playing!

Imagine being invited to a barbeque, but when you get there you're told that you should of brought your own food, drinks, charcoal, condiments, cutlery, entertainment, and soap (lol) to clean up because it's not the host's responsibility to provide all this stuff DOOD.

Another issue is that Phil's conversation style when he reads chat isn't to just keep a topic going or to spark any back and forth. He never reads something and responds like someone carrying their side of a chat.
Instead, because he's still in the mindset of making youtube videos, he'll say "Ice1488 says ...." or "CuckyDream asks ....", he'll give a definitive statement or answer about that topic in two sentences or less (unless it's obvious troll bait). Then in his mind that subject is done and he'll usually even cut himself off with a "Did you see that?!" and then it's back to glaring at the game until the next cheer.

I have noticed that he's a 1-and-done kinda bloke when it comes to conversations. Sometimes he goes on a tangent, usually involving gay jokes or male body parts or bodily functions (can anyone explain his obsession with this btw?) but for the most part it's a one word answer and then he goes quiet. You'd think after years of 'entertaining' people he'd be able to carry or start a conversation.
The problem seems to be he's just genuinely a boring and awkward person. IDK if the awkwardness comes from years of having his shit called out or if he's always been this way, but he seems afraid of conversations going to things he doesn't understand. So he just quickly brushes it away or goes on a tangent unrelated to the question, that way he can steer the 'conversation' and seem like he's got something to say.
That and a combination of him not liking people imo, he's incredibly anti-social. If he could make money never interacting with people, I think he'd take it and never see another person other than Kat again.

I think most past vlogs shows how anti-social and awkward he is. Even among with other people like Rambo and Leanna he has shown to be quiet and socially withdrawn from others, and also awkward considering how he dresses, facial expression, and other forms of social interaction. It would also make sense into why he had little to no friends to talk to or interact besides Leanna and Rambo till now where he's completely alone and miserable. In my opinion, Phil was always like this but it took a while to see it now.

True, I remember the video with Leanna having a go at him (maybe her last appearance before splitting?) and the way he flinched whenever she raised a hand was genuinely worrying. Especially as I don't think she was ever physically abusive. He seemed almost afraid that she'd touch him. To be so against interaction you flinch away from the woman you apparently love... A very sad man living a very sad life.
No surprise he's shit scared of having an opinion or original thought.

Yup she completely cucked him live, and he did nothing about it. It was very sad and pathetic seeing a "grown man" being put in his place from a lover. Showed how anti-social and bad he is in relationships, when he's not in control.
