Imagine being so delicate that reading a slur is stressful.

Most people think of words like nigger when they think of a slur. These people are talking about things like "insane" which the automod removes.
"Stupid alt right babies mad that reddit randomly banned them I am so logical and calm HoNey StOp BeInG PrObLeMaTic"
"Someone said the r slur and crzy and insane Omg FAGCDFDHGCBFGBBNAgqkTFJWDX I'm having a Paniscxy attacks rn ZOMG VGFJNBFDGC IM SHaking ANd Cryingvbanm Im hyperventilating bsnm, gah"

Basically every commie sub blocks any word that could be even remotely described as 'ableist'. It's terrible.

Any idea which sub implemented it first? I know latestagecapitalism has used one for a long time but I'm not sure if they were the first. I'm too lazy to look into all the retarded commie drama that has transpired on reddit, there's just too much to sift through.

Noticeable exceptions are the ChapoTrapHouse subreddit and Stupidpol.

To note, however is that the userbase of the CTH subreddit has grown fast the last year and definitely isn't as dirtbag (as in "dirtbag leftist") as the used to be when it comes to social issues. The general trend of leftist subreddit increasingly being stringent with language policying continues and they definitely aren't exempt from that.

Stupidpol and both leftypol and leftpol on 8chan, leftist communities that are explicity anti-idpol are much more lentient when it comes to that, which predictible is called out as being brocialist and problematic by other leftists.

r/ChapoTrapHouse hasn't been good in at least six months. r/stupidpol is boring because 95% of it is making fun of Twitter screenshots from literally who's.

Honestly, every politics-related subreddit is pretty bad, but they're all bad in their own ways. The only exception to this I've seen in any real capacity is r/BlueWave2018 and its successor r/VoteBlue, because they have a specific goal of helping get Democrats elected and they mostly talk about that, as opposed to discussing other current events, memeing, or pie-in-the-sky policy ideas.
