Some argue that the "revolutionary" elements of the alt-right are left wing in nature.
Not sure if it's related to being "revolutionary," but the biggest similarity I see between the alt-right and the socialist movements are the obsessions with purity and the resulting spirals. Just as socialist and communist movements that gain power invariably turn inwards and start banishing or killing members that someone with slightly more power decides isn't dedicated to the revolution enough, I can see the alt-right, should they ever actually get power, soon after turn inwards and start expelling people they decide are not white enough or too degenerate or whatever.
Which is? Trump went 180 on every single thing he ran on. Of course part of the left that can be positive about his actions will be positive about it. And /r/thedonald, but they are about as dense as remaining gunt's paypigs.
Are you alt-right yourself? The alt-right's growing disdain with Trump was inevitable because they had allowed themselves to believe in an image of him that just wasn't true. The alt-right believed Trump would be this warrior fighting back for the white race against minorities and DA JOOZ and all that (and the media was certainly glad to help foster that narrative), but in truth he never pretended to be much more than what he is; an average Republican with a little less concern about LGBTQIABBQs and a lot more obsession with The Wall. So now he's been President for two years and trans people have failed to be gunned down in droves in the streets and blacks are doing better than they did under Obama for the most part, so WNs who thought Trump was "our guy" are bound to be disappointed.
