Time for a Japanese history lesson. Or a mythology lesson.

I'm sure for those of you familiar with Shin Megami Tensei or Japanese Samurai History in general, know of Taira no Masakado. He lived during the Late Heian Period, which could have been considered Japan's first Dark Age. Everything during this era was pretty fucked; bandits ravaged the countryside in anarchy, stories tell of demons freely preying upon the living, starvation and plague was rampant, and political extortion and corruption was the choice of practice for provincial landowners and lords that had their own armies to rule over the people with. Even Buddhism at the time was preaching about how everything was going to hell, and eventually demons would pop out of the ground to thrown non believers into the pits of hell for all eternity. Seeing that the Emperor during this time did absolutely nothing to stop the blight of the people and how he was also at the brunt of all of the shit of the time, Masakado decided to revolt and overthrow the Emperor of Japan with a massive gang of warriors he gathered during his run from the law. Doing so, a lot of crazy things happened, many which the people saw as premonition and omen. The most notable was how flocks and flocks of butterflies gathered around Kyoto before Masakado started his campaign.

True Conversation with a Canadian friend and colleague a few years back. He was complaining about American Politics, as is the National pastime in Canukistan. At which point he decided to point out that we American's know nothing at all about Canada or Canadian politics and couldn't even name their Prime Minister if asked. I responded "Trudeau". He turned to me with a look of confusion on his face "Wait? Trudeau's Prime Minister? When the fuck did that happen?" Me "About 2 years ago..." It seemed to be the perfect microcosm of Canadian civics rolled up into one brief exchange.

Maybe you should practice what you retweet there Marzgurl. I know I'm on a bit of a vindictive streak, but the likes of her and her associates don't know how to critically analyze or garner any taste to even be called "professional reviewers", let alone act like decent human beings. She's also been doing this for about a decade now, so she and her associates have no excuse at this point.

The event horizon has been passed long ago. No lawyers of their own either. Just an immense amount of blind faith and self entitlement.

And out of curiosity what has Nick said or posted regarding Soye that would be considered defamatory? Looking through it the most I see is an overall accusation of rampant idiocy. Yeah you might be able to sue him for calling you a moron, but the published evidence in those very twitter tweets seem to back up Nick's hypothesis and analysis. Telling you to get a Lawyer is not defamatory. Nor is it Harassment. It is in fact sound sane advice. If unsolicited. You can't tell a Lawyer to stop talking about you any more than you can tell a reporter to stop talking about you. Or anyone else.
