When will these people realize that we are not responsible for the actions of our ancestors? This is just Original Sin for progressivism all over again. The funny thing about the "whites are a uniquely evil race with oppression in their hearts" viewpoint is that it requires woke people to studiously avoid learning jack shit about the history of any culture other than the United States and the places that are least powerful in the world and have been since the dawn of history. Any study of world history that includes all the empires of the world will illustrate quickly that anyone with a giant empire gets it through bloodshed and enslavement and atrocities. There's no empire with clean hands, and some of those hands are very dark.

A lot of these woke people seem to consistently forget that a world outside of the US even exists, and they have such a loose grasp on even the United States' history. Part of it isn't their fault, the school system in the US is a dumpster fire, but they should really do some independent research before trying to act like they're an authority on this stuff.
