Nick claims it isn't dandruff. I sympathize. I can't wear black either, due to dry skin. More lotion and a good allergy pill, Nick.
Yeah, But I think he meant that it wasn't a usual condition, not that he didn't have dandruff at all.
Either way his reaction is why I like Nick. He didn't dodge the chats, didn't sperg out, didn't lie and say "oh it's dust" or something like that. He reacted like an adult.

Anyhow, get a coal tar shampoo during allergy season Nick. That might help.

Depends on whether or not Vic burns their entire fucking world down.
Like a lot of things in life, it'll be balanced. The KickVics want him thrown in prison, Nick disbarred, and anyone even peripherally pro-Vic to be shunned from the anime community. People on Vic's side want Funimation and RoosterTeeth nuked to the ground, Marchi, Rial, Toye, Shane, Schemmel, Inoue-Hart, Marzgurl, and Hanleia to be broke for life and living under a bridge till their last days while Vic resurrects anime with the power of handsome Christian maleness.

What's probably going to happen is Funi and RT will settle because they have better things to do than being touched by Beard in court, the VAs (plus Toye, Marzgurl, and Hanleia, but probably not Shane) are going to go through some financial straits but ultimately will still be marketable (if tarnished from this whole fiasco), Vic will get some money, roles, and hopefully some retractions, and yet there will always be people muttering what ifs in the dark corners about how Vic will still be suspect because 30 women didn't get to tell their stories, and that's what counts, and those whispers will be over him like a cloud for a long time, if not forever.

I think it's been said before this is uncharted territory. The one who got Metoo'd is fighting back against all this, with good legal counsel, the story isn't big enough to be covered by mainstream news and thus now swayed one way or another, and by all accounts Vic actually is a good guy, and not a very skilled stealth creeper.

It'll happen again to some other poor voice actor before all is said and done, but hopefully the fight against it would be similar to Vic's case.

The thing is, the Vic thing is part of a bigger trend now. It's one you saw with Brett Kavanaugh and now Luke Perry as well. People being #MeToo'd are fighting back, and people are less willing to listen and believe than they were. I don't think Vic is going to be the death knell of this idiocy on his own, but he surely is going to be one of the many who help bring it down by fighting back.

So Nick was informed that Shane wants round 2, and then Nick said "Oh, I think I know what he's doing."

Very interesting.
His brilliant plan is similar to Rial and Soye's, get Nick to say something that will derail the case. Too bad Nick isn't Vics lawyer and can say whatever he wants. Anyway

It might happen again, but my wish is that this puts the fear of God in people and they're less stupid and brazen with it.

Or, put another way, actually have some credible evidence with your metoo next time. Otherwise, don't bother.

I hate being that guy but dammit it's tortious, not tortuous.
Going by that turtle-cooking story that Nick shared, could he be found guilty of tortoise interference?

?

What's the difference between dandruff and having a dry scalp or whatever he said he had? I was under the impression the latter caused the former.

I kinda want to see Shane on the show again. I wonder what he thinks he has to gain by doing so, though. Did he think he or his side looked good last time? I wonder if he's getting DMs from other #kickvic-ers begging him not to go on again.

If I remember right, you have to drag its head out with some pliers before decapitating it. And by all accounts the actual prepartion is drawn out and tedius. So it's torturous tortuous tortoise interference.

If someone spread rumors of animal abuse about you to potential employers because of what you had for dinner, it's tortious tortuous torturous tortoise interference.

Well for Vic if he wins this he really should hire off duty police and/or other 'do not fuck with' people to be his escorts/chaperones for public events for the immediate future. I wouldn't trust someone else supplying the non-LEO chaperones who may be neutral, Vic supporter or a KickVic.

Hey Nick, if you're reading this, make sure to get your scalp fixed up. Ladies hate dandruff.

If you're getting dandruff, you're probably having one of four issues:

  1. You're being a lazy fuck when you shampoo and aren't massaging the shampoo into your scalp.
  2. You're washing your hair too often, which strips the natural oils from your hair and dries out your scalp.
  3. You're some sort of genetic abomination.
  4. You're being cheap and using one of those terrible 3-in-1 men's shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
I recommend being more thorough with your shampooing. Remember to lather BEFORE applying the shampoo to the scalp. Massage with the pads of your fingers, not with your fingernails! If you're having issues with your scalp being dry, try washing your hair less. Alternatively, buy a hair mask (or make one yourself with coconut oil, honey, and egg protein) to really reinvigorate the moisture in your hair and scalp.

Remember, friends don't let friends have bad hygiene.
Neutrogena T-Gel use it twice a week. Massage it into the scalp for a few minutes. Wash it then do it again. Do that twice a week and don't do anything else. Scalp maxxing.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Shane decided to go at Nick again so shortly after Soy Toye and Monica went fishing for some kind of reaction out of Nick.

Or fishing for more info on what BHBH is up to, or both even.

Why do they keep acting like Nick isn't an experienced lawyer and would be wise to that? Even if Nick did have some useful knowledge, he wouldn't divulge it. I already know the answer:
?

But it's just sad to watch. How do special education teachers not just get frustrated and burn down the building?

They horribly miscalculated with Vic, I think. I think they were planning on getting Vic kicked, where he would fade into obscurity a broken man, his fans would pull a 180 and hate him, the majority would love the brave people who got a sexual predator removed from the industry, and that Vic's only supporters would be alt-right momma's basement incels who had no sense, cents, credibility, or likability. And legal action? No lawyer would even think to touch Vic The Molester.

And I think they were so sure of this that they threw caution to the wind. Funimation essentially said Vic was fired for harassment. Rooster Teeth and Funimation VAs went apeshit on twitter.

And they shot themselves in the foot. All their tweeting fueled the case for defamation, civil conspiracy, and malice. Inoue-Hart faked a SWATing and blamed it on Vic supporters. Vic did not go quietly, and in fact kicked back with the help of Rekieta and almost 3700 people. That GFM raised $100k in 15(?) days, while, to this day, the combined GFMs of Marzgurl, Hanleia, and Jamie Marchi have yet to meet their much, much smaller goals. Fans are flocking to Vic's support, with a few of them exposing ANN's misleading pictures for what they were. On top of that, there's plenty of fangirls in the mix, probably even a majority, putting to rest the thought that only angry white virgin boys would be supporting Vic. No lawyer would touch Vic? Have at it, Ty and ALOD will be touching you. I haven't compared all the numbers, but it looks like the support for KickVic is fizzling out.

If this goes the way I think it's going, it's going to be a backfire of epic proportions.

Also, again completely unrelated to Vic, but (says the black guy), "I found out I was Sandy Beige #42". "That sounds like a porn name"

It should also be pointed out they chose to attack thinking it'd be like all the other controversies in recent times, where Buzzfeed, HuffPo et al would be able to signal boost their case and amplify their narrative and theirs alone.

Had this occurred six months ago? Heck, even as far back as January we'd be in a much more different position as the bottom feeder propaganda units would be screeching this stuff out as good click fodder which is what ANN and Gizmodo tried to do. The only problem is they've not found someone to do their lying for them, to provide just enough doubt in the story to push it. We're now in the post Kavaunagh and post Covington world. Lots of people know the media outright lies and are more than willing to call them out on it, if not call in the lawyers to fuck them over.

They tried, of course, falsifying the narrative by trawling random facebook images, censoring them, and then pretending it was a harrowing account of someone placing their hand on their shoulder. This has been called out rapidly by the very people who's images they stole to use for their stories. It's since had autists such as ourselves and others comb through stuff to find out pretty much every single story they've made up is either wildly overstated, or an outright lie.

The other problem is that Twitter's finally and fully warping these people's perception of what constitutes assault. The echo chamber is real in which the rumour mill runs rampant and the flour made of lies flows freely. Hand on the shoulder? He totally wanted to move it to my chest! Hand on my back or hip? He wanted to put it on my ass!

Let alone their paper thin skin of people talking to you being considered "harassment" when you're basically screeching with a fucking bullhorn on the street corner by using Twitter like this. That's always been the one, hilarious danger of Facebook and Twitter. Because most people make these tweets or posts from the privacy of their own home they have zero fucking filter and it shows amazingly. Soye and Rial should know better, being as old as they are, but they've both moved for too long in the unreal, moronic world of the mummer.

Basically, they couldn't have launched their attack on Vic to get rid of him at a worse possible time.

Rather than letting it drop and waiting for another, better opportunity to come along they had to get what they wanted now, now, now, now. They tried it back in November when casting for Broly (likely to make an "all Texas cast" and get more jobs for Rial's personal friends) and when that failed, they just kept going.

They didn't notice a lot of the world's changed around them and a lot of that support network that was there to help previous causes (like Gamergate, Comicsgate) collapsed and vanished when they launched the weeb wars. Now they're going to pay for it, quite literally as they keep racking up those law fees.

With their bullish attitude too, it will be funny to see if they bother answering any summons, or come barging in with no counsel relishing the chance to "prove Vic guilty" only to be fucked over and realise that Nick was telling the truth the whole time.

The hilarious bit is that they could have effectively gotten exactly what they wanted... funimation could have still made their exceptional statement and both funimation and roosterteeth could have fired vic all with no consequences had certain people not REEEEE'd ABOUT THIS ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Now the burden of proof is on them and them alone, and they will likely see the axe themselves no matter how that case turns out just for being an utter nuisance to the company. It wont be immediately, just to cover funimation's asses, but NO company keeps someone that has seen them a lawsuit around. They will call in their resident schmuck to comb the texas guidelines and their own employment contracts to axe them.

On a side note: I would LOVE to meet USDM the social media manager for funimation, if they still exist in any capacity. Mostly just to determine if they actually had any training in the position given that they did EXACTLY what someone should NEVER do in that situation. Are they an exceptional woke individual, or are they just some shchlep that was granted the position thinking it was an easy paycheck? or even better: was it an outsourced position where there is literally zero legal overhang and responsibility?

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have an overall manager position at all. Albeit, if they did, you can bet your ass that it would have been filled by a nepotistic parasite. And we all know how they are.
