Why does everyone act surprised when Ethan Ralph turns on his own chat? He was barely holding it in for the first three months that his stream got "big." Then the money was really rolling in so the Killstream had "The best chat in the world" to quote Ethan himself. He love, love, loved that money. He loved that money so much that he completely ignored his tabloid blog/site "The Ralph Retort" for the last year, basically. His baby. The place where his "articles" had been featured on Infowars. Ignored completely because he was enamored by those sweet superberries.
But if you go back to that very first stream that made the Killstream big, the Baked Alaska Dumpster Fire stream, as it is affectionately known as, there were a ton of dislikes and shitposters in the chat. People were doing basic trolls and simple jokes about the stream and about Ethan, and his immediate response was "We have a lot of Baked Alaska fans in the chat, Baked Alaska fans are raiding the chat." Even before his stream had become successful, the very first night, Ethan would not could not believe there were people who did not like him or find his stream funny. There had to be someone to blame, and that blame went on chat itself.
It had to be a raid by those low IQ Baked fans. Had to be.
There were people who immediately called him out, getting him to sperg at the chat even more before someone got to him in their side chat and told him to calm his ass down and quit blaming his viewers for having dissenting opinions or not liking some simple bit that they were doing on their stream. I would guess the control, the conscience, Ralph's "jiminy Cricket" if you will, was Zidan.
Zidan-less, Ethan Ralph is flailing at his own fans, saying he is being "raided by the boards," and generally doing dumb things that will cause even more jokes and trolls in his chat, because those are the Killstream fans. He can't roll with it because he is the worst combination, a hedonistic narcissist who also has low self esteem. A t shirt in the hot tub, for christ sake.
It has to be a raid by those low IQ trolls from the boards. Dern it, has to be,
Whether it is "Baked Alaska fans" (like there were so many of those) or people from the image boards (like they really give a shit), he has to have someone to blame, because in his head, even though his body positivity is at a low, he cannot believe people do not want to hear his take on things. He is the by god legendary Gamer Gater Ethan frikkin Ralph, for gosh sakes. Did you know his articles were featured on Infowars? Did you know that the Wall StreetJjournal themselves fought to get him taken off YouTube? Didn't you know that? He is important, damn it.
This is going to get worse before it gets better because of the blood in the water, He used to give his audience other people to draw blood from, he ran out of blood donors and the audience still needs to feed. And "the Gunt" (goddamn would that forced meme die already) looks big and tasty.
This is going to get worse before it gets better, but it really isn't that funny anymore. It is just a long goodbye.
