I don't think this will get rid of the virtual mobs' power at all. At the end of the day, corporations will cast you overboard if you could even remotely cause them to lose any amount of finance without hesitation. No matter what stature you held.

And to further add that these people are on social media tilting at windmills solely for the gratification of people liking what they have to say when it comes to any form of moral outrage/stance/thoughts/feefee's. They feel better about themselves and when it comes to dopamine needs the law has never prevented people from further means obtaining it.

The point isn't to remove the mobs power. Obviously it will remain that way.

The point is if they win it will set a crushing precedent for cases like this where someone is caused damages by these mobs and to make them put up or shut up.

Past removal of the internet or completely governed ran social media, you're not going to remove any power, corporations only care about $.
Guy, we've already have had 90+ years of solid defamation/slander litigation, this won't deter anyone.

Can't blame the people checking out, though. Listening to this guy talking about ideal page counts for novels is kind of boring. I'm considering checking out myself. Really want to last to at least the first round of superchat readings, though.

Georgia House Bill 604

Rackets is alright. The only flaw I can see is that he's part of the homeschooler's cult. Everything else seems to be pretty normal. Including the kids and his derpy midwestern wife. Or at least as normal as it can be for someone commenting on internet drama. My favorite parts are when he rants so hard it gives him an allergic reaction. The guy gets wound up and it is glorious. No matter how shitfaced he is he keeps his language between the buoys too. Nothing anyone could take as a credible threat or an insult to their identity or whatever. He insults people personally and specifically. Because they are garbage.

I still think his best rants were dismantling Landau.

I came in fairly late, but from what I gathered some guy running a con was bullied into either removing Vic or outright not running the con he was in charge of due to browbeating by Sabat, Rial, Shane etc.

Take that with a grain of salt though.
