I expect a lot of screeching that Nick is just lying.
Speaking of which, what sort of verification does he have for the information? I trust a lawyer to not blindly trust a faux rumor, but still, it’d be better if there was some confirmation that all this really did happen.
Well he said it was someone inside Kamehacon but not sure who on the inside. And the fact that Shane wanted on his show yesterday really bad maybe to get ahead of the info. IDK just seems slightly legit but maybe that's just me being hopeful.

I notice all the implicated parties are being super quiet right now, so until proven otherwise, I'm going to assume they are huddling in a trench as the shrapnel flies overhead.

Only person still being super loud right now is Renfamous, and they are an attention whoring moron.

Maybe it finally occurred to them to shut up and stop digging their own graves. I can't imagine that they haven't gotten a lawyer by now, and I can't imagine that lawyer isn't developing a massive ulcer right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if that lawyer spend several hours blowing their phones up and telling them to shut the hell up and stop furnishing the rope by which they are to be hanged.

I stand corrected.
I mean so far Monica has been quiet and the only thing Ron tweeted was a MHA thing and Sabat doesn't tweet like the others so won't know for a while probably if he got told what happened.

I am honestly really perplexed by the timeline of the latest developments, so if someone could correct me if I am wrong:

* Sometime in Feb, Rial, Toye and Sabat, and very possibly Shane Holmberg, allegedly pressured the chair of Kamehacon to disinvite Vic. Was this before or after they should have become aware that Vic had retained an attorney and was going to sue their asses, potentially for tortious interference of various types, thereby dragging Funimation as an entity further into this mess?

* Sometime in the very recent past (?), after learning that Kamehacon was going to re-invite Vic, they allegedly strongarmed the chair into not inviting him, and again further dragged Funimation into this. This is not only the tortious interference, but also possibly criminal, and took place well after they became aware that Vic had retained counsel and was pursuing them for damages?

I guess what I am confused about is why they would allegedly do this after they are well aware that papers are already being served, and so I wonder if this all took place when they were still in denial about Vic actually proceeding. They can't have actually believed that these allegations wouldn't get out.

As for Shane, I guess I don't get why someone would allegedly deliberately involve himself in an ongoing legal situation. It boggles my mind. Attention whoring doesn't seem to be a good enough reason, but maybe he is pathological in some way. I can believe that VA's are more or less narcs (like most actors of various stripes), but he's just a schlub.

If the timeline of allegations in my head is correct, the sheer arrogance is breathtaking. What are they thinking?!

Shane seems to be a useful idiot who really thinks he's on the side of the angels here, no matter what happens. Of course he's going to have the mindset of a holy crusader who believes he can do no wrong.

All I know is Nick is kind of entering the same territory that Monica and co entered, which is to say he's directly accusing them of something based off of information we haven't seen, and if it's just a straight up lie then that doesn't look good. I believe that he's telling the truth, but still.

Well, in this case, in order to not taint the evidence, he CAN'T show copies of it, it would hurt Vic to do so. He's under no legal restraint to not discuss what he knows, but that's as far as he's going.

It was back in the beginning of Feb when they first got Vic kicked from the Con. Vic didn't get a lawyer till late Feb.

For the second part umm they are stupid? I mean Shane still thinks no lawsuit is coming even though papers for evidence are being served. And the others were in denial for so long maybe they maybe think they are untouchable

Didnt Rickets say that they "closed" or "took down" the gofundme in some capacity after it hit his goal? I remember him noting that whatever vic didnt spend in lawbucks would be donated to a yettobementioned charity being part of the same line of thought.

What isn't used is earmarked for the Dallas Salvation Army battered Women's charity or something like that.
Edit: It's all on the GFM page: https://www.gofundme.com/vic-kicks-back "one of the Salvation Army Dallas domestic violence and abuse shelters in Dallas County, Texas."

At this point it's just as likely they're herding a troop of monkeys that came flying out of their posteriors.

Shane's like Peter Pettigrew in the Potter books. A simpering self-serving rat that clings to anyone he sees as powerful at the moment.

I mean really? Leaving a Digital Record of it? That the guy you are strong arming has a record of? They really are morons. And remember they did this AFTER they got the "Preserve Evidence Letters". So they know this is all going into discovery. They have to know.

I’m a little confused here. Was Vic under contract when Sabat and them called up Kameha Con? From what I heard from Nick, they had a change of heart about bringing Vic but was a contract established at that point?

Slow fag here.

Having a hard time finding an announcement but they did announce he was not attending so if he wasn't going why would they need to announce it?

Edit: I think they deleted the Announcement Tweet, Google shows a guest announcement that is deleted sooo....

Sabat, Rial, and Vic were all under contract. They forced Vic out causing Kamehecon to break the contract.
Then when Kamehecon was considering bringing him back, they (Sabat and Rial at the very least) threatened to break their own contracts by walking.
Since Sabat and his studio is premiere part of the con (with a full tourbus-attraction thing going on) that forced the hand of the con director, and he has implied that he doesn't want to run another convention after this one because of the headache involved.
