I think that Rial and Sabat initially told them criminal charges were gonna be filed, so they dropped Vic. When that didn't pan out, they decided they would bring him back (why not, he's a headliner right?). Then Rial and Sabat probably threatened to walk, which given Sabat's featured status would have tanked the con. So the director capitulated, dropped Vic, and has potentially decided not to run any future conventions just because he doesn't want to deal with these people.

Does this sound right based off what we know? If so, holy shit... Rial and Sabat are totally fucked.
Yea except you forgot to include Toye being the go between guy.

Given how some of these people have behaved so far, if Beard got one of those temporary restraining orders he's talking about, I bet even that wouldn't stop these people from tweeting or texting. I say go ahead and do it and let them dig their graves deeper.

Unfortunately, deeply fucking stupid people are sometimes impossible to stop with a restraining order or an injunction. However, having an order in place makes it possible to punish the stupid motherfuckers with shit like daily fines of $10,000 or even jail time.

The jovial nature of this stream, and the lack of the typical lawyer speak when discussing a case.......it feels like this is going to be a rubber stamp win for Vic as The Beard has many of them by the balls. The public evidence seems damning; I can only imagine what the IT personnel have discovered.

There's no such thing as an easy case.

However, Ty has every reason to feel confident and optimistic, because the absolute, utter morons on the other side are bending over backwards and forwards and every which way to make the plaintiff's case for him. It must be rare for a combatant like Beard to watch, goggle-eyed, as his adversaries publicly commit hari-kari.

That's the point I think. File a restraining/protective order or similar and wait for them to inevitably break it. In addition to the fines and possible jail time, it'd just be more to add to Vic's case. More proof these people are harassing him, defaming him, etc.

Well the Amazons did say they were amazed about the amount of discovery without even starting the lawsuit.

He said he's a vice principle. Sabat is supposedly a vice principle.
Gotta be that guy. Your principles are your personal ethics. Sabat is a vice-principal.

It's mostly right - replace "director" with "owner."
