Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Within the context of the wealth bragging possibly being private, it could have very well come up during pressuring cons to kick Vic. "Don't you know who I am? I can take away a lot more revenue than Vic" sort of thing.

Like I said, there were hints of this earlier, Something in one of the streams that seemed to indicate that Vic thought Sabat was at the center of it all, which seemed strange, as he wasn't one of the ones blowing up. But this lays it out nicely. It almost makes it seem like Marzgurl is just another clueless ignorant dupe of others, yet again. Seems to be the story of her life.

Reading Allison Cookes twitter history, I can say with certainty she is as dumbfounded as the rest of us. She was just one among many idiot fujoshies making consequence free defamatory statements against Vic as part of the general Fujoshi whisper campaign against the creepy christian dude who voiced the anime boy they wanted to see have gay sex with other male anime boys they fantasized about.

The zero event was not the Fujoshies. Even vic was jokingly complaining about them for years. The zero event was Kaylyn and the subsequent ANN article. We really need to know who knew what when with respect to what happened there. But what was not in dispute was that following the actions of Kaylyn and ANN the voice actors in hock with Sabat went all out against Vic. And when the push back began, Sabat sent out his cuck Shane to run damage control. He failed miserably btw.

Ty has pretty much come out and said he wants Sabat's balls. Especially as Sabat in his idiocy decided to go after Haberkorn for the despicable treachery of becoming Ty's client. So now its a race between Shane, MarzGurl, the Voice Actors and the Conventions to confess their sins before Primarch Tybeardius. Whoever confesses first will get absolution and the rest the fires of the emperors wrath. Tick tock.

originally I was going to include this in my earlier post but the discord provided a lot of stupid shit that I think I start making another post about it, so behold, Nomikai Dallas

Oh yeah, the panel at ConMunity with Casual Otaku, the hypothetical "Cis Kabat"!

I don't visit PULL and ResetEra because it's so stupid it makes my brain lock up. I even cringe at the screenshots people post here.
Me neither and for the same reasons.

Has any brave kiwi waded into the madness deep enough to see if anyone is actually bringing up valid points? Enemies do have a certain way of finding weaknesses in arguments and thinking. Or is it all your typical SJW reeing and character assassination?

I mean, let's be real, the man has a grenade on his shelf.

Funny thing is, I had the same type of Mk2 hand grenade when I was a kid. You used to be able to get them at Army surplus stores.

What they did was empty all the explosive filling, and remove the fuse.

IOW, it's almost certainly de-milled. I don't think Ty has a live grenade.

What's funny about Allison is that she doesn't seem so sure of anything anymore in general. I recall her conceding that Vic might end up vindicated.

Wasn't sakuracon one of the first to turn on vic? Or am I making that up? I don't have a good reason for knowing the name of anime convention in seattle otherwise.

There's been a few shotgunned through the thread, usually followed by them getting negrated to shit and back.

According to Dear Feeder, when Beauty Parlor opened here we basically stole all of PULL's good content creators and posters, with PULL getting a noticable dip in quality thanks to the braindrain.

Nick was making the point, and I think a reasonable one, that the conventions are also victims in this. I mean, when you're balancing planning a large event, obtaining guests of honor, ensuring everything's up to code, scheduling dozens of panels to make sure there are no conflicts, and making sure you make money, what can you do when people higher up in the industry feed you false information (Vic is a dangerous predator who's going to be indicted soon), or outright threaten you (Vic comes, we walk and take all our fans with us.) That's another headache you don't need. It would've been great if they said fuck you, Vic's coming and that's that, but at the same time I can't fault them for folding to that kind of pressure.

IOW, it's almost certainly de-milled. I don't think Ty has a live grenade.
That's what he wants you to think!

If ground zero really is Sabat, it means Hanleia and probably oodles of other people were duped or encouraged to say dumb shit. And as much as we like to make fun of them, I'm sure at least some of them see the writing on the wall.

Just out of curiosity, how is NeoGAF these days? Are they talking about this?

Did it become less retarded with the idiot migration to ResetEra? Or did Evillore not learn his goddamned lesson (which Ty even mentioned tonight) and decide to try for SJW Hugbox 2.0?

And that is the rub isn't it. The conventions do need to make money. And Ty has pretty much stated that if they don't comply with his very "reasonable" request to tell him exactly what he already knows they know, only this time under oath in an affidavit he can use against certain someones, he will go after them instead for the breach of their contract with Vic. KhameCon had a contract with Vic. We KNOW they had a contract with Vic because it was a part of the leak. Tortious interference is not the only cause of action Ty has here. Unlawful Breach is another cause of action. KhameCon can be sued by Ty via Vic for the unlawful breach of their contract due to them bowing to the false and defamatory statements of third parties.

How far do these Cons want to go to bat for Sabat? Are they willing to be sued for intentional breach of contract? Because that is the threat on the table right now. They either comply and tell Ty what he already knows they know, under oath in an afidavit, or they get dragged into the mess too as part of the conspiracy.

Did you miss this glorious shit?

No. I was knee deep in that glorious shit here on the Farms when it went down. You can check my post history if it goes back that far. But I lost interest and track after ResetEra firmly established itself.

However, it's my understanding that NeoGAF is still very much running. I'm wondering if the climate changed after the dust settled and whether Evillore might have become less of a virtue signaling faggot.

Oh, no doubt the conventions should be cooperating fully with BHBH. They resist and suddenly they get changed from collateral victim to actionable accessory. I'm just saying the conventions shouldn't be the primary targets in all this, since it was Sabat et al who instigated the breach.

Guess what I'm saying here is that the conventions deserve the benefit of the doubt, and shouldn't be met with same ire we're holding for Sabat.

I waded through a few times because curiosity. They're all fawning over each other about how funny/smart/how they're victimized. One of them pretty much lives on here reporting back to their buddies. Its all incredibly embarrassing, but they're all convinced how great they are.. sad really.

Also, does anyone know if Shane has paid the money he owes over betting Nick wouldn't show the night he was on the stream?

Insert Joke regarding throwing all his money at not his chair, shoes, alcohol (reportedly a "raging alcholic").

I sometimes have a butcher's. I'm guessing they have a problem where none of them are watching Rackets' streams directly, so the information disclosed in them is being filtered through friendly ideologues on Twitter and such before it gets to their thread. They still seem to be very confident that Vic will lose this somehow. And they really hate "Racketball," as they call him, and had quite the laugh (though rightfully so) about his tin warehouse office today.
