Thanks. This has to be one of the hardest topics to follow on KF and it's entirely because the idiots getting sued can't stop.

The new stuff about the con might be the single dumbest thing I've seen someone do on this site in awhile. If I'm not getting my timeline wrong, they had already been served papers telling them, in no uncertain terms, to quit defaming Vic and what do they do not even a full 24 hours later? One-up themselves with adding some tortuous interference and possible extortion to it! Just. . . damn. How does someone get this disconnected from reality?

Loved it when Ty said he is gonna get igor some jailtime specially since that same person threatened todd as well for having Ty as his attorney. Ty didn't scream like nick but but he was super angry and furious for this. Ty even said that due to todd threat now its personal.

Was super fun because it was unexpected he'd say even this much.

Since now its highly likely its sabat it will be amazing to watch rekieta stream reading that discovery.

Oh yea a really funny thing happened was Nick got a complaint from Toye. And Nick gave a copy to Ty Beard so now Ty has all the contact info to Toye.

I failed staying up and fell asleep and only woke up to catch Nick reading the last of the superchats, and now am caught up on the posts here and holy crap. That is a lot to chew on.

To not put too fine a point on it, this drama has played out entirely at his command. He was the dude who hired Schemmel and made him the voice of Goku. He gave Marchi, and Monica their positions in the Anime subbing world. He was a principle founder of Funimation and remains their major producer. The immutable link with Japan and the "talent" he brings on. Vic was not among his controlled cast though, it HAS to be noted. Vic had independent reference through numerous independent publishing houses.

For a moment I wondered if Beard was talking about Schemmel, because the description of someone ugly, mean, and jealous fits him so well, but it really does all line up best with Sabat. Especially if Iago was threatening Todd, I don't see anyone else in the right position to do that that fits.

Sabat thinking he has the power to dictate to Todd what personal lawyer he hires really paints quite the picture of what's been going on behind the scenes at Funimation and why so many VAs haven't sided with Vic in public. He is the ultimate snake bribing and threatening and bullying people to go along with whatever he says. It's sick.

I recognize it's not proof or even compelling, but even before there was a Kameha Con, the account was retweeting his account more than any other creators, and wasn't just retweeting direct references to the con itself. If he doesn't run it like I assumed, it seems likely he's friends with the people who do.

If that's the case, perhaps he colluded with Rial and Sabat in their bid to get Vic removed from conventions, but we really need more proof...

I was actually wondering if Geekdom was Nick's "reliable source inside Kamehacon". That would be a pretty good source. Geekdom wouldn't have any way to threaten Todd that I can think of so I don't see him being Iago.

It could be bragging in public at, say, convention panels that were recorded and put on youtube. I'll dig through some of Sabat's and Schemmel's panels later today and see if I find anything that lines up.

Take it with a grain of salt from me, because even I know not to get ahead of myself.

But Funimation is also a major sponsor of ANN, and their crew has such a bent that it shows in their opinion pieces and their forum lackeys they invite and allow to propagate their agenda. This also not mentioning how before ANN and MarzGurl blew this up, their higher ups were lamenting over Dylan "Hazukari" Kleiman, an underage convention sex predator whom they were friends with and even let on doing a few articles for them. Plus, MarzGurl used to work for ANN as well.

How I managed to survive such tardery is beyond me, but take it from someone who knows how to trawl the web.

I don't think Geekdom has anything to do with what's going on, but it would be odd for him to inform Nick of goings on considering his ties to Sabat and his sponsorship from Funimation.

Fell asleep, and holy shit I guess that straight up lie told to KamehaCon Nick mentioned was them telling the organizer that they were pressing criminal charges on Vic when they knew they weren't.
Why on earth would they even say this? Yes, it gets the job done in threatening to scare the con organizer initially, but it would only last so long before the con organizer inevitably realizes you aren't pressing criminal charges and outs you as liars
especially when you harassed said con organizer and you made them hate you

So Sabot got basically taken down by Jessie Pridemore in the long run. I mean if she hadn't throw Todd under the bus, he would not have lawyered up. Which he did so now Sabat threatens Todd. Now Todd is pissed and probably gave Ty and ALOD insider info and evidence since now his friends are turning on him.

as far as anyone is aware he's not said or done anything that would implicate him, so he'd have nothing to fear. But perhaps he saw what they were doing and thought it was as messed up as we do. Geekdom is a bit of a polarizing individual, he's probably the biggest DB related youtuber and he loves punching down at other people as he sees himself as some sort of authority on a fucking shounen series. It also doesn't help that 90% of his content is just reading shit other people have reported...He's a weeb flavoured Hambly.
