If people want a dialogue, they first need to strip away their fallacies, it's a tired form of rhetoric. Strawman tactics are funny at first, but you start to desire some more meaningful critique. When individuals can't help themselves but find everything outrageous, it can be quite easy to capitalise on that rhetoric.
