Cog is what he is. He is pissed off now that he manged to remove the veil and see Ralph for who he is. Kind of a Failure situation though with how long it took him to finally admit that Ralph is a piece of shit and turn on him.
Cog will turn on someone for one of two reasons:
1.) They upset him and he feels slighted, and/or;
2.) He can rake in more money by doing so.
For excuse number one, look at his affiliation with Tonka. They were best friends until Cog started talking about how Broski North's cancer stream seemed like a scam given the changing excuses and stories, and that they didn't talk about the computer he was going to buy with some of the money until the majority of the stream was done. When Cog was demonetized on YouTube, he bitched about Tonka and Vamp staying silent on it, and when Broski and Optic started laughing at him for it, Tonka and Vamp jumped in to watch him sperg and Cog decided to shit on them in return. With this, Ralph isn't going to bring in money like he might have three months ago, so he's turning on him now. It's also why he's started to cozy up to Zoom, despite telling almost anyone who backed him substantially that he didn't trust Zoom and didn't like him. It's so bad that several people who have paid money via Patreon (one of whom was about a $50.00 backer on Patreon) said they stopped subscribing to him, and he became a bit upset over that (admittedly I am taking someone else's word on this). I do know of one backer who did a similar amount for almost a year who left because of the people coming on the server like Sarah Hatcher/Queen of the South and Zoom, and they ended up leaving because Sarah, in particular, was causing drama and they didn't want to deal with that. Suffice it to say, Cog was not happy with the decision to pull the funding.
Cog is a walking contradiction. On one hand, he says he's against deplatforming, doxing (except in the case of making people aware of a legitimately dangerous individual, like noted pedophile Corey Barnhill), and in general going after someone in real life. However, he's hanging out with Zoom now, a guy who brags about deplatforming people on a daily basis, a guy who admits to doing illegal things to fuck with people, and he justifies this with, "Zoom has his own agency". Maybe he does, but so do you, and you are freely associating with him, after watching how he's treated everyone else he's cozied up with. You're both an idiot--far larger than Ralph is--and a coward. He's been very adamant that what you see in public is what you get in private. Speaking from experience, publicly he keeps things where he can control the narrative--which is why if you say something he doesn't like he subtweets you since you aren't going to see that they do that on Twitter and so his 'fans' can tell him how right he is--but when he makes a statement or accusation in private and you push him on it, he fucks off without justifying it. And given some of the comments he's been making about me and Ralph--leaked by one of his co-hosts--when he's saying something different to us publicly, yeah, he's not exactly trustworthy. But this is a guy who built up his reputation on the back of Tonka and Vamp, so...
Anyways, the guy is looking for money. He doesn't work at all, he lives in "council housing", which is the British version of section 8 housing in the US. His ticket to the US dried up when his girlfriend broke up with him. he sees the money coming in from drama and it's far more than he was making going over cop videos that Donut Operator Mike the Cop have gone over weeks beforehand--with actual commentary. He doesn't want to go back to MundaneMatt-esque in material.
