I like how when someone suggests an easy way to greatly improve his appearance his immediate response is to start in about how that's just not possible and he totally does what he should. By not being able to find the brush it's safe to assume the bedroom is a clusterfuck of old drink containers and unwashed clothes. He's just like every other crusty "transgirl". Following the beauty advice of helpful women on Reddit means he'd have to put real effort into it, and we all know Alex can't be bothered to put in a shred of the effort your typical woman puts in to keeping up their appearance.
