The female part is definitely not "half". But I've met several friends through anime. And most of them have watched Dragonball as kids. And continue to do now.
(same as me.) But I'm not from the US so I don't know how much I count in this equation.

I dont understand how DB can have any fans left? the Original Series was awesome, DBZ was fine at the start and went downhill pretty fast. the Episode with Goku and Piccolo learning how to drive and the gohan at highschool stuff were good but just filler.
GT and Super are even worse. they lost all the fun. Im also super tired of that shit. we now have Pirate Goku and Ninja Goku and like 50 other Gokus, all with the same character and a stupid story with the same structure.

It's quite likely that Beard did do some negotiating to get the owner to follow through on what he was planning on doing already and re-inviting Vic. Perhaps that involved threats, but I don't think threats would have been necessary so much as a gentle reminder that it's better to be on the side of not breaking contracts, so how about we let Vic back in, and if Monica and Chris (MoRis? RiaBat? MonBat?) end up breaking theirs, well… you help me out, and I'll help you out. That sort of thing.

Oh, it just occurred to me… If the other fans are like her, maybe she's thinking in terms of weight, not quantity.

I believe it. I just remember that the DB fans I met in the anime club I used to attend in high school (and quickly left) tended to be really sweaty dudes. I think it's pretty much a meme that DB fans are really socially stunted power level spergs.

Some did not have much choice. After the old Funimation Forums closed and the current forums proved to be a shell of its former self, there were little options for those who lost their "home." I miss the old Funimation Forums: good mods, good users, great camaraderie.

Oh trust me. The friends I made through anime are all female. And don't get me wrong not all of them like DB. It's mostly the ones that watches it as kids because it came before/after Sailor Moon. With guys I've almost only met creeps. Sweaty dudes, guys that love to tell you their sexual fetishes as soon as you talk to them for 10 minutes. All that crap. And a whole lot of SJWs.

edit: And I stay away from fujoshits too.
